This is a review for the stainless steel covered hose under the following title: "25 ft Garden Hose – 304 Stainless Steel Metal Water Hose – 3/4'' Fittings, Flexible Hoses for Yard, Outdoors25 ft Garden Hose – 304 Stainless Steel Metal Water Hose – 3/4'' Fittings, Flexible Hoses for Yard, Outdoors" It appears that the link may not be the same type of hose. Main advantage - doesn't kink Main disadvantage - almost certainly not repairable if you run over it with a car. Lighter than a standard rubber hose Can be wound up without haven't to 'unwind' the twist. I like these stainless steel hoses. I am reviewing these after about 6 weeks for use at this time, so commenting on any long term problems is impossible at this time. However, I will try to update that later. These hoses and similar stainless steel hoses are provided by many vendors. The type I got were available by at least six different vendors, all in exactly the same box with the same features. Identical. Advantages and disadvantages: 1) They do not kink, are easy to roll up, and don't tangle, even when left out, winding them back and forth. Unlike the heavy duty rubber hoses I have been using, these do NOT drive me nuts keeping them from kinking. I don't have to twist them about to get them unkinked or tangled. That really makes me ecstatic. 2) As long as you don't run over them with a lawnmower, loaded wheelbarrow, or worse yet, a car, they shouldn't ding or crimp. I leave the hoses out, and am regularly stepping on them, sometimes on top of each other, in the yard and on sidewalks. There hasn't been an issue with that, but heavier loads can ruin the hose. 3) They don't leak and the ends do seal well. The hoses come with three spare hose end washers and a small roll of Teflon tape. The spare washer seals are a nice touch. At first, I was a bit confused by why they would include Teflon tape. I've never bothered with it on similar connections and the hoses seal when tightened. I figured out that this will help if you are connecting hoses together to make a longer hose and leaving them connected for a long time. Since our last set of heavy duty rubber hoses lasted 15-20 years (the worst practically falling part - the best still OK), it can be difficult to unscrew the hoses when they have been together for a good long time. When I threw away my old hoses, two of them wouldn't come apart. Even with good machined brass fittings, the old rubber hoses wouldn't loosen, even using two Channel Lock pliers. So providing some Teflon tape is thoughtful. 4) The machined brass hose ends are of high quality, seal well and thread together well. That is the good. The bad isn't terrible, but could be annoying. When you tighten the hoses well, taking them back apart will likely require those Channel Lock pliers because the ends don't have a good surface for you to grab onto. Note pictures 1 and 2. Those thin knurled brass sections are all you really have to grab onto. The plastic barrels are hose protectors, but because they are not fitted over a a hex nut type fitting and rather, screwed into the ends, one end will just unthread. You have to unscrew the hoses by the thin brass exposed fitting. It is not difficult, but may require the pliers. The only real disadvantage these stainless steel hoses have is that you cannot repair one. As long as you don't crush one with your car or run over it with your lawnmower, it should last far longer. Probably almost as important is that it doesn't kink and won't drive you crazy counter-winding out the kinks. ... show more

I was surprised how small the hose is. Being made of metal I expected it to be heavier, but it appears it will hold up well. I didn't measure it, but because of the small diameter it doesn't seem to be 25 feet long. It seems durable and the connections are solid, but there was a leak at the connection to the hose bibb. I tightened it with a wrench, but it still leaked slightly. I don't know how long it will last, but I intend to use it quite a bit in my yard. ... show more

Robust 3/4-inch couplings guarantee that the garden water pipe is compatible with most outdoor garden taps. We had to get hoes since we had to clean our steps frequently after having two dogs. Furthermore, these are quite convenient to connect to and utilize. All you have to do is figure out where it attaches, and you're good to go. It is also long-lasting, robust, and thick; I'm not sure if it rusts, but overall, it is well-made and well worth the money.moreover, they are simple to clean. I have a large yard which takes a lot of watering in the summer. I also have a dog who loves to chew on hoses and destroyed all of last year's rubber ones. My solution to both issues has been to order a multitude of stainless steel hoses in a variety of sizes and I will never, ever use any other kind of hose. They are lightweight, flexible, durable, and dog proof. There are different brands of stainless steel hoses, but with the different brands I have ordered, the stainless tubing all seems to be exactly the same. The one difference is the type of tubing used to protect the screw joint connection, used to mitigate wear and tear at the connection points. This one uses a hard plastic and it actually screws onto the connector, which I like a lot. The brass screw heads are heavy and work well.
