I was excited to put them up immediately. One of them had a burnt-out bulb, and also two of the bulb replacements were burnt out as well. Not sure why ?? I was going to return them but I had already trashed the box and didn't want to go through the hassle.

First, the price is why you're checking them out. It's why I checked them out. They also look exactly close enough to the old broken ones that my wife wouldn't notice any difference at a quick glance. Second, I place these on the window sill. I don't fasten them to the actual windows. They didn't do that with real candles way back when so neither shall I with my fake Chinese made candles. Third, I do leave the suction cup on and used it as a way to wedge the candle base in-between the sill and window lip. I do this because my kid's bed is next to the window. That's why I needed replacements. They get knocked over and/or played with. Lastly, the results are great. My wife still doesn't know they are a replacements. My kids broke two more of the old ones in a different room so I had the extra to cover those. They stand up just fine and light when they are supposed to and turn off as well.     • Can we disable the sensor?

I love these candles, but the automatic turn-on and shut-off is kind of a pain in the neck. They won’t necessarily turn on if the room lights are too bright. The sensor also makes it so we can’t have them on for Christmas day. Is there some way to disable the sensor and use them as a regular light? Otherwise these are very pretty and the suction cups work well. ... show more

Suction cups to hard to really stick. Lights r beautiful and love the fact I don't have to turn them off and on. Was not expecting the 4 replacement bulbs. Great job guys!! Will definitely buy again if something happens to my set. Have one in every window!
