This is a very solid hose, of good construction and seems like it wont bust a leak ever. It's a little shorter than I might like, but that's not at all a knock on the product, the length is right there in the listing, and accurate. I chose this hose primarily for its length, which was all I needed. But I find it well made with its steel outer covering and standard brass fittings which work nicely on every attachment I have, without leaking. It is also kink free and thus easy to move around. However, I can't get it to coil in the same way it was when it came, so I lay it loosely over itself in a tight figure 8 on the ground. No worries. I ordered this hose for the faucet on the other side of my house. On the other side I have a 25 foot rubber hose and I wanted something shorter for the other side. This is the first time I have had a stainless steel hose and it turns out I really like it. It was thinner than I expected , but it does tell you the size in the description, I just didn't pay attention. But it turns out, it still works very well. I hooked it up without any problems. I usually wash my car on the other side, but this time I decided to wash it with this hose. I was worried it would be too short, but it was not at all. I will definitely be using this hose to wash my car from now on. I could tell how much lighter it felt compared to my rubber hose and it made washing my car much easier. It didn't kink up at all and didn't get stuck under my tires, which is what usually happens. I feel it bends easier and gives me more control over it. I left it in the sun for a while and when I picked it up, it wasn't hot. I am happy with this hose and I would recommend it. So far, I can't say anything bad about it. ... show more

I'm a fan of these stainless stell hoses. They look so much nicer than rubber hoses and I feel they are easier to manipulate when using. I live in SoCal so we don't have the usual weather extremes that kill hoses but rubber ones can get baked out in the sun so these are great as long as you're careful about touching them if they have been in direct sun, they can get toasty.
