Some assembly required. The assembly went well and seemed pretty intuitive. The instructions were clear enough except when it came to programming the app. (I'm still working on how to get the app to pair (Bluetooth) with the fan.) A handheld wireless controller was included and it worked from the very beginning. The fan is low-profile, and seems to perform well with speed control, reversing motor, LED light level and color temperature adjustments. Pretty cool! Loved the 8 speeds you can choose from! Perfect for all year use. It’s not hard to assemble and instructions are easy to follow. The light brightens the whole room which is great but what’s more great is that you can change the color/ brightness to match your home lighting. You can flip the blades and use the black side if you don’t like the OAK which makes this fan compatible with most decor and furniture. ... show more

Looks great Blades are plastic but they look fine very quiet. The slow fan speed is rather fast, but to keep a low wind effect we use the reverse button on the remote so it doesn’t blow so hard on you. Lights are very bright and the dim to a degree, but we generally use bedside lamps. It’s nice to have a central light, though. Not compatible with Alexa or other type devices. Can be controlled with phone but in order to use that feature the unit must be turned on by a wall switch, if you can only turn on using remote the phone app does not work. We thought about Turning unit on with remote, then switching circuit breaker off then back on(effectively making the circuit breaker the switch) so we can get app to work , but haven’t tried it yet. ... show more
