I have had this about a month now it it is great! It has a remote that can be mounted to the wall. There are 6 speed options which it nice. The light has adjustable brightness and warmth settings. The fan blades are double sided, with a wood and black option. There is also a timer for the light/fan. I love how costumizable it is. Everything has functioned really well with no issues or concerns. My one complaint would be the ease of installation. I would not call it beginner friendly at all. I have replaced almost every light fixture in my home and this was the most complicated. The instructions are helpful but could be more clear. I was able to install it successfully, but there were random parts leftover that were not mentioned in the instructions. I would call this an intermediate level of difficulty. lost two stars because the instructions were truly awful. Should have a second wire option for fixtures that are pre-wired for a fan so you can leave the fan on and off without having to hunt for the remote. You lose all your settings if someone turns off the switch so we had to tape the switch in the on position. putting the final cover on is fiddly and poorly explained. The assembly is quicker and easier if you put the blades on before you set the motor in place. quiet and smooth. the design of the physical operation was poorly thought out. This is in our guest room and not a single guest has been able to figure out how to turn on the lights. ... show more

I installed this 52-inch ceiling fan in my living room, and it ended up being a really solid upgrade both in terms of airflow and lighting. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it is. Even on higher speeds, the motor runs smoothly without that annoying humming sound you get from some fans. The six-speed settings give a lot of control too. I can keep it subtle or crank it up when I actually need to move air around. Airflow is strong and consistent. It does a good job circulating air across the whole room, and the reversible function is a nice bonus. I’ve been using the standard direction for cooling, but it’s good knowing I can switch it in colder months to help push warm air around. The built-in light is bright. It easily lights up the entire room, and I like being able to adjust both brightness and color temperature. Switching between warm, neutral, and cool lighting makes a noticeable difference depending on the time of day or what I’m doing. The remote control makes everything simple. I can change fan speed, adjust lighting, and set a timer without getting up, and the memory function is actually useful. It remembers my last settings instead of resetting every time. Installation took a bit of time and patience but it was pretty straightforward, and having two downrod options helped get the right height. The dual sided blades are a nice touch too. I liked being able to choose the finish that matched my space better. Overall, this fan does exactly what I wanted: strong airflow, quiet operation, and a bright, adjustable light all in one.
