I've put up a lot o f ceiling fans and on a 1 to 10 scale where 5 is average and 1 is super easy, I'd rate this a 3. Certainty easier than most but still a simular process. As for the light and fan, they both work as expected on day 1. One reason I picked this one is because some of the other white fans came with black remotes. I didn't want a black remote and holder on my wall.

Super easy installation. Had it up in under 30 minutes and for an 80$ fan I’m super impressed. Very quiet, puts off a lot of air, and overall seems well made. Would definitely purchase again.

Let me start by saying that now that it's installed and functioning, I really like the fan a lot. But be prepared for a challenging assembly and installation. I recommend following the instructions very closely (don't simply trust your intuition) and be prepared to spend at least two hours (maybe three) from start to finish. I had a few missteps where I had to undo and re-do things the right way. I also had a few frustrations, where the mount didn't screw in to my housing nearly as easily as Id expected and the wireless controller didn't seem to fit (at least not without effort) where it was supposed to. I overcame the frustrations, but the job took more time and effort than I'd planned on. I'll say this though -- now that I've done one, *if* I had more to do, they'd go more smoothly now that I have experience. The remote control is awesome, the fan is quiet and powerful, and the light is adequately bright at its highest setting. Quite nice if you're handy and willing to put up with a curveball or two.

I purchased this fan for an in closed patio room. Of course I didn’t install it but it didn’t take long. After installing all the functions work, there was a little noice vibration. Took the lighting part a loose and rescrewed and the vibration went away. Best feature is 6 settings for fan and able to dim the lights

I had been thinking about replacing our brown fan since we are updating everything and it’s mostly white more. I thought the lighting would look perfect for our living room andI was right!! First off, fan mount did not fit on standard ceiling mount. Now fan is is making a ridiculous knocking sound which we thought was due to the enormous control box sitting on top of the fan pole. After taking the fan down three times now, it is still knocking. It's going in the trash and we will have waste more money buying a replacement. Do not buy!!!
