I needed a 42" fan because my wardrobe would be in the way of anything larger. Couldn't find anything in the stores with a light and remote control in that size. I was looking for a lightee color, simple looking fan, nothing gawdy. This one is a really classy looking fan for a decent price. Has 3 different color light options, 6 fan speeds. Came with a remote control which works great. It's very quiet. My room is about 10 x 10 and I have it on speed 3 and I'm chilly! The only issue my brother in-law had when installing was that he said the control box was slight big and hard to place where the instructions said to. Nevertheless, he rewired and came from the opposite direction and it worked better. I will update with a picture soon. Just ordered a 2nd for my mom's room!

It’s large size and 8 blades make this ceiling fan move a lot of air. The 6 speeds and reversible rotation make it perfect for my living room that is vaulted to the 2nd floor. It allows me to keep the 2nd floor cool by blowing the ac from the 1st floor up and keeping the 2nd floor ac from coming on. It is also very quiet and uses very little power. I highly recommend it if your in the market for a new ceiling fan.

Perfect for moving air - not just for looks (but this surely is a statement piece fan, without having to buy one of those "Big A$$ Fans"). Very quiet so far.....very effective. I love the remote control feature, as well. My only complaint is that the light already seems to be on the brink; when I press the light button on the remote, it will come on once every 20 presses of the button on the remote. My husband is high voltage electrician certified, so I will assume it isn't a matter that it wasn't hooked up properly. He's a perfectionist at installation and a master at his craft where installing fixtures is concerned. That being said, I am not upset the light isn't working, because it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BRIIIIIGHT, the only time I'd need it would be to work on my tan, and there ain't enough sunblock for THIS brightness level.

This fan is beautiful. It is on our vaulted ceiling and definately gives you a focal point! It is very quiet considering it's size. We had previously hung another fan and removed it in exchange for this one and are VERY glad we did. Hubby said it was easy enough to install and the remote is a HUGE plus!

I love this fan. I got it for our new outdoor pergola and it looks great. Operates great too. Light is plenty bright and the fan is powerful but quiet. Assembly took some effort but I did it by myself. Definitely needed space to work on it. It is heavy ( 35 lbs) so I had some help to install it. The best was that you can get longer downrods. I needed that, and it was simple to request the longer one and it was no extra cost. It arrived quickly. Definitely a great deal!

The seller read my review & offered me a full refund... I'm not sure if I missed something or they missed something, maybe it was a language thing... They asked for my address as well... I replied that a refund would be great, along with my address but, they ended up mailing me a brand new fan so, that was really pretty nice & at least I have a backup! The following is about the 1st fan, the 1 I unboxed & installed: I was really kind of disappointed after opening the package because it was really well packed, like, this did not get damaged in transit... As seen in the 1st 3 photos, the finish on the blades were damaged before they were ever packed... but, this was purchased for outdoors so, I rolled with it. We had been excited for this fan because of the price point, attractive clean look, the remote control feature AND that it has 6 speeds... but, I kind of wish I had returned it for a different design... As you can see in that last photo, the slant on the fan blades is so slight it doesn't really matter that there's five blades, the length of them (52"?) and the six speeds... we pretty much have to put it on the 6th speed to really feel it at all! Sigh... I guess at least we only have to press 1 button to make that happen though! We do like the remote in spite of the the fact that the fan was a nightmare to put up because the instructions are LACKING, (which is why I'm not attempting to put up the sent, new fan unless this 1 goes out) we finally got it up, with only a few scratches (due to the design of the motor cap) on the down rod... hopefully that won't be seen or rust in the future... At least it looks pretty good. So far it is completely quite on the 6th setting, and you can't see the scars on the blades, which is a plus! Hopefully it will last a long time. Oh, the light is Super Bright! My husband no longer needs a flashlight to check the meats on the outdoor grill!! I'm thinking that it would be dimmable, if on a dimmer switch but there is only an on/off button on the remote.

I love how there 3 shades of light and 6 settings for the fan and 2 shades. Wood or stainless with remote the airflow is wonderful the build quality is super awesome.
