Just installed the fan this past weekend and we've been living with it for almost a week. Overall we love the design, the installation was reasonable and I will likely buy another for another room. Things I liked: - It looks good - Motor is quiet - The electric hookup is convenient - Installation went smoothly (see below for a couple of areas of improvement) Areas for improvement: - I wish i could set an upper limit on the fan speed. This is in our young daughter's room and levels 5/6 on the fan are fast. - There seems to be a bit of turbulence noise from the blade tips, not terrible though and wouldn't prevent me from buying again - I'd love to see some keying or registration notch for the positioning of the blades... you're holding this big awkward piece up in the air with one hand and trying to align the screw+screwdriver with the other. - I'd love to see a bypass for the electrical remote that used mains power (I'm assuming it drops the voltage down) so I can use smart switches instead of their remote. - The electric screw terminals were in the way of the mounting bracket to mount to the junction box (tip: screw in that side first as the holes are enlarged and allow it to slide, then do the other side) - The wiring could be more organized and the connectors more logically placed on the remote receiving box ... show more

This is my 5th of these fans. I have found them quick to install, and had no issues with function. All were perfectly balanced. All ran with no issues. I did have some quick connects that were not properly matched but went with striping the wire and a wire nut. Overall, excellent design, good looking, and reliable so far. The media could not be loaded. I recently added this ceiling fan to my office, and I'm thrilled with the upgrade. It boasts a stylish, high-end look with a sleek, flush light kit that shifts beautifully between warm and cool light settings. The fan offers numerous speed options and delivers impressive air output. On its highest setting in natural wind mode, the air flow is intense—akin to being in a wind tunnel. While that's overkill for my needs, it might be ideal on a patio, though I'm unsure if it's rated for outdoor use. Once running, the fan is almost silent and remains stable without any wobble. The installation was somewhat tricky as the instructions did not specify the best time to install a certain piece, necessitating some disassembly and reassembly. Additionally, the fan makes a single click when first turned on, which, although brief, could be disruptive for a light sleeper if placed in a bedroom. This noise is not a problem in an office setting. The built-in timer is a welcome feature that enhances its functionality.
