This drain auger is light to medium duty, and should be perfect for a homeowner or landlord. The build quality seems fine, and the canister is made of metal rather than cheap plastic. You can use the built-in handle to manually turn the auger, but you can also attach a drill-driver to it for motorized turning. The carrying bag is a lightweight Cordura-type material and is fine for storing and carrying the tool.

This has some weight to it but is very easy to use with the handles. Fits straight down all my pipes with ease. Made with great quality. Worked like a charm on the first try. Besides the regular tub, sinks and toilet, we have a basement drain. I ordered this just in case it gets clogged. But, we have had problems with our toilet not flushing right. By using a drill, with it, I'm hoping this clears it for better usage. I like that it has a handled bag to store it in. And a nice extra is the gloves that are included. A drill and the gloves will also save my husband's hands. He will have to do the honors as this snake is extremely heavy.
