Oh my gosh!! I can’t say enough about this product! It is AMAZING!! Our shower drain was draining slow so after reading the reviews I decided to purchase The Drain Weasel. Let me tell you this product worked so well. I think I got a small animal out of our drain🤣 I repeated the process twice to make sure I had everything out of the drain. If you have clogs I highly recommend this product!! It is well worth the money and very easy to use. I’m posting a gross picture of all the hair that came out of the drain. Sorry. I bought these in an attempt to clear some of our tub clog before attacking it with Drano with the hope that it would help the Drano work better. The tool itself is very light plastic and almost feels too flimsy to work. Assembly is super easy and the amount of hair that one rod pulled out was astonishing (2 feet long). I ended up needing 3 rods because they’re not easy to clean off (which is a testament to how well they work) but cleared everything in less than 5 minutes. I have never been a fan of chemical drain cleaners and have spent hours disassembling drains to clear them. Years ago there was a tool that was similar in that it had burrs to catch the clog. But this tool is truly amazing in the ease, speed, and efficiency in removing a clog in a bathtub. I ordered the kit with 5 wands and used all five because there was no way I was going to be able to clean them off. I just order refills in anticipation because clogs happen. Almost once a year I have to open up the AC drain. The weasel works there too. Closet central air unit and the drain line comes apart close to the A coil. Cannot see the top of the drain pan but from the bottom, the weasel works.
