I just recently got a patio heater and realized I didn't have a way to protect it from the elements over the winter. When I came across this cover, I knew it was just what I needed. The cover is pretty decent. The quality seems good. The exterior material feels very durable and strong. The interior material feels as it if would be water-resistant and non-permeable. The seams are all solid without any tears or loose threads. The cover has handles, making it easy to manuever around the heater when covering it. It also has a zipper, that goes down the length of the cover, which makes it so much easier to cover. You don't have to try to slide or wedge it down over the heater - you merely have to put the top of the cover over the top of the heater, pull the sides around to bring the two sides of the zipper close together, and zip it shut. There's also a stretchy "drawstring" at the bottom so that you can tighten it up at the base. I have the traditional style heater with the flying saucer shape at the top, and this cover fits it really well. It's not so snug that it's hard to zip shut, and it's not so loose that I have any concerns about it flying off. The only thing I will mention is that is this cover is left on during the summer, there is a chance that the inside material could stick to the heater. When you have the combination of moisture/condensation with the strong summer sun baking down on it, if the interior of the cover is right up against the heater making solid contact with it, there is a chance it could "stick" to the heater when you try to remove it. So just be aware of that. It's also important to note that you will likely still need a step ladder to put this on, as you have to start by putting the top of the cover over the entire top of the heater. Depending on how tall you are and how far your reach extends, you may be able to sort of toss it over the top and have it land just right, but I am not tall enough to do that. That said, I'm totally happy with this cover and definitely recommend it. It's a good item for a fair price.

When I saw the price, I said, what the heck, gotta try it. Then, when it arrived, I said, no way that fits. But surprisingly, it did. In fact, it fits very well - almost like it was made to fit such an odd shape - go figure! So, one tip - make sure to unzip, then slide the bottom over the top first. It has a drawstring for the bottom and if you don't get the drawstring around the top deflector, it will not go around later - unless you untie, remove the drawstring clamp, then reassemble, you'll never get it on. Ask how I know. The zipper runs the whole length and is sewn in to make the whole cover taper perfectly as it comes down. My heater is a little different than the one shown in the listing in that it has a round table-like shelf about half way up the shaft. But the cover stays the same width as the tank compartment, so it accommodates perfectly. I'll admit it is kind of a 1st world problem looking for a solution, but the solution works. Especially if you leave your heater out on a deck in the weather. Mine lives up under the patio, so it has cover, but I will still use to keep it much cleaner between seasons.
