I ordered this because I have been wanting an inflatable costume ever since my kids got theirs after Halloween last year. First off let me start by saying that when you get it, there's this big hole in the costume but that's where you attach the fan that inflates the costume so don't worry about that. The fan takes four AA batteries and inflates pretty quickly. The costume material is really loud because of how swishy it is. Lastly, you cannot walk through a doorway straight on you have to turn sideways with this on and fully inflated. That's all you need to know and that it's a lot of fun! ... show more

This Inflatable Starfish Costume looks metallic in the product photos although the information clearly says it is polyester. I took a close-up photo of the costume in order to show the weave of the fabric and the fact that it is not shiny so no one will be disappointed. The costume package includes a small air pump; I have attached photos of that as well. After Halloween, I plan to update this review to include photos of someone wearing the costume. The starfish costume is very fun and sturdy and easy to inflate. It will last more than one Halloween and can be a standby for impromptu costume parties. You don’t need to worry about someone showing up dressed just like you! This product met my expectations and I recommend it. The media could not be loaded. Inflatable costumes are so much fun, and they really stand out in a crowd. This starfish is especially unique! It's not as durable as some I've tried. There was already a small hole in a seam when I received it, though it didn’t affect the air pressure. Also, the fan wasn’t pre-installed like it is in some costumes, but it only took a minute or two to get it set up. This one was easier to walk in than others I’ve worn, and as an added bonus, while it looks like you'd have to walk around with your arms out, the internal air pressure keeps the starfish arms up even when you rest your real ones down. It’s the most fun I’ve had dressed as marine life, and that’s saying something. Great for parties, Halloween, or scaring beachgoers with questionable marine biology knowledge. This is a funny costume of a very blue starfish. I’m 6-ft 2-in tall, and it fits! It uses four AA-batteries which are not included. I think you can use a USB power bank, instead.

Unexpected fun. I just saw it was a starfish & had no other context of there is any. The fan needed to be attached. It has 2 zippers, they are not double sided. The zippers are located in the back which isn’t my favorite if the zippers aren’t double sided. Costume quality: It feels cheap but has great graphics, the fan is good quality *USE BRAND NAME BATTERIES* the airflow is great & to keep it flowing since the only thing with access to the air is your feet. Fit: it fits well & feels comfort to wear Quality: i prefer zippers that are a little easier to Hold on to and handle but these are ok ... show more
