Product came well packaged and all parts well labeled. It’s takes a bit to put together because it’s a good amount of parts. Instructions were ok, but you really need to think ahead and pay attention to some details that the instructions were misleading or just not clear. As an example, the instructions would have you putting the tines on the same side as the welds, this would cause the tines to not sit flush. Seems obvious, yes. Construction of the unit is very good, thick metal and the power coat looks good. All parts were present. The welds look odd to me, but time will tell if they are durable. Already used to prep yard for overseeding, covering two acres with three passes without issue.

Works great. Everyone was correct, hard to assemble. In the end, I reversed the tongue, wheels then oriented correctly, engaging handle then operates towards the tractor (disengage and notch for wheels down in rear). Tighten spoons opposite side of weld as previously suggested, except the set next to part 11. The spoons will lay flatter off the weld. It doesn't affect build.

This is the very first time writing a review. This product is just that bad. I've gotten bad products on Amazon before but this one is the worst by far. 1. The parts don't fit. 2.The instructions are garbage. 3. The axle holes don't align, so the wheels aren't flush on the ground. 4. The aerator spikes look like they are functional but i can't lift them for transport because the lifting arm does not adjust high enough to remove the spikes from touching the ground.

It takes a long time to put together but I would not say it was difficult just time-consuming. Aside from that, this thing is heavy duty, it should be no problem handling any job that you need for aeration

happy I bought the lawn aerator,very very disappointed that there were no assembly instructions included ,Looked all over on line could not find anything.Finally found a video related to the aerator. If I had instructions should have taken an hour to an hour and a half. Watching the video over and over took almost 3 hoursto assemble Talked to Rufus and many other purchasers complained about no instructions, good working product if you are not good at putting something this big together BUYER BEWARE

Aerator works well

Same as some of the other reviewers, I had to re-assemble a couple time to get it together. I am a mechanic and assembly should have been simple but..... Ultimately determined that the part #11 has the bushing welded to the wrong side, which determines the direction the transport handle operates and causes the top tray to be reversed. This is why some of the video/pictures of other customers have the wheels facing forward. With the wheels forward they tend not to lift the tines sufficiently (depending on the height of the tow vehicle). The other concern is the drilled holes for the axle/wheel bracket are a bit large, allowing the wheel bracket to shift enough that the tines may touch the concrete when transporting. I am going to get larger bolts to eliminate the "play". Overall, heavy gauge material that should hold up well. I would like to have the ability to purchase additional tines/plug knives as I know they will wear out over use. Please make those available.
