Would give it 5 stars but the instructions are just pictures which don't give you all the info you need. That said it works great. Made from heavier steal than Agri Tab brand. I had a problem with bolt holes on lift handle lining up (Drilled wrong). I had the rest of it assembled and the lift handle was the last step so I wasn't thrilled about taking it part and repackaging to exchange thru Amazon. I contacted the manufacturer and sent then pics to try for a replacement part. Well they sent me a new one! Now that's customer service! My son and grandson have purchased them since. They had no problems with the handle. Their handles were different color than mine. That makes me think they switched suppliers. Yes I highly recommend this product.

Easy to assemble, seems pretty solid but axles may be a weakness? Recommend lighter cement blocks and drive slow to reduce bounce impacts. Did a nice job on my yard. 2.5 acres, highly recommend you pick up sticks before using or it will plug up fast.

Great buy however !!!! Handle required 2 small bolts and the holes pre drilled from factory DO NOT LINE UP . You will have to drill out new hole after that works beautiful. But if ya ding have a drill and bit and a mechanical aptitude this is why 4 stars instead of 5 .I drilled out 3nd hole installed handle and shabammy works loud a dream .

This is a solid item. A little challenging to put together but with two people it went rather smoothly. It works great. You can adjust the height of the thatcher and it really raked up the flattened grass after all the snow we had this winter.

This is an entry level dethatcher but it managed to pull up 5 years of thatch in my lawn. Not sure how long it will last but if I get three uses out of it (and I'm sure it will), it will have paid for itself. I would definitely buy this again. For those who are not completely familiar with dethatching, keep in mind this loosens and pulls the thatch to the surface. You'll still need to rake it all up which is 90% of the work. Upon first use, you'll think you tore up your lawn and ruined it but after raking it'll look so much better.
