Its summer here, but my mom always taught me you get the nest deals whem you buy summertime stuff in the winter, and winter stuff in the summer. So i got this on sale knowing it'll almost certainly be more expensive once fall or winter roll around. A week ago, I saw a cool night was coming up, so I decided it was time to put it together with my boyfriend. Assembly took a little longer than i thought it would, but working together, it ended up being very easy. Based on the pics on here I knew it would look good, but once we had it together and turned turned it on, it looked soooo much cooler in person. We're both suckers for anything bright: colored lights, jewelry, or fire. The flame in the tube visual effect looks amazing. But it's not as impreasive as the heat this gives off. Boy, does it kick! Its hot as heck next to it, and you can really feel it from far away. Which is the most important part to us, because soon we're having a deck pad built, and we're going to put up a tent on it, and I want to make sure that the heater can be close, but not TOO close, so we get the heat without causing damage to the tent. Lastly, speaking of damage, we have a 5 year old who gets into everything, so the auto-extinguishing feature is important in case he tips it over. And if he does, he'll be grounded with no devices til he's 18, so i wont have to worry about him doing it a second time. :D.

The stainless heater looks great. Of course the assembly is not always as quick and easy as described, but we got it done! Downside is that replacement parts are not available. Have to return the entire heater if a problem.

We love this thing! Took a little while to put together, but overall, not that difficult. The cover is a pain. You'll need a step-stool to get it on and off. Throws a lot of heat! And it looks terrific on the back deck.

The manual is easy to follow. Some parts of assembling I need a second person and a ladder. Most of the time I did by myself. The heat is really nice! It definitely valued the price. Now we can enjoy our screen room during Fall and Winter! The propane tank will be inside the heater and the manual has the correct specifications (LP tanks not over 31.8 com diameter x 58cm tall with max 15kg capacity). I bought an empty one at Amazon and filled up at a local Tractor Supply for $20.00. I loved it and strongly recommend it!
