Edit: Seller is phenomenal. Able to contact me and update product listing to ensure it is sold as 3D Pen filament. Even though the product didn’t work for me, the seller was quick in shipping, and attempting to resolve the issues I had. Updated stars, but will show the original review, as this product is best for pens and not printers. Original: After I first got my 3D printer and I’d gone through the included filament, I decided to buy this as my first pack of filament so I could test different colors. The colors themselves are nice… That’s about all the good I have to say about these. I tried several different filaments when I got this package, and I had some issue each time. I thought it was because I was new at 3D printing at first, but when I bought a different spool of filament, I realized I wasn’t doing anything wrong; it was this filament itself. For starters, some colors were very dry right out of the package, and broke every time I tried to load it. Even when I got them fed through correctly, they kept snapping during the printing process, leaving me with a half-completed print. Trying to unload or change filaments also ended badly most of the time. Usually, it would snap when trying to reverse out of the tube. Once, a piece broke off inside the heating element, so I had to purge several times to get it fully cleared. The worst was when it clogged the nozzle half way through a long print, and it wrapped a huge goop of plastic around the nozzle and heater element! I was so worried it damaged something, and it took a long time to get it all peeled off and cleared. I was lucky there was no damage done to my printer! Needless to say, I haven’t attempted a print with any of the other colors since! I realize it says it’s for 3D pens in the title, however the description clearly states it works with 3D printers as well. So unless you are using this with a 3D pen, or you plan to sit and watch your printer to ensure nothing goes wrong, avoid this filament at all costs! ... show more

I’m bought this for my 3d printer. I’ve used 3d pen filament before with great results but it was ABS. I’ve always used PLA and never been disappointed in the results with my Flashforge. This time I was able to get what is supposed to be PLA 3d pen filament and I’ve got to say it did not print like PLA. It adhered to the print bed but ended up falling apart mid print. I finally got a print to run through completion but the print had gaps in the layers and lots of webbing. Now I took a chance and ended up running a print as if it was ABS and to my surprise it came out super clean with little post finishing. I was very impressed after all the prior failures. There was an another review that didn’t have good luck using this on their printer, so if you do and have bad results, try printing as ABS and you might have acceptable results. ... show more

Had to have this to go with 3D pen as a Christmas present. It's easy to use. The temperatur is adequate to create items. Being used by an adult so I'm not sure how easy it is for preteens.
