Bought this to make a bunch of dragons for gifts and stuff for my Etsy shop and it is GREAT! Colors change in a decent amount of time so you get pretty good color changes throughout a print. Didn't have any issues with it breaking or anything (I did dry it before printing).

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this printer filament for my Toybox printer, drawn in by the variety of colors available compared to the limited options on the Toybox site. Here’s my experience with it: Compatibility and Usage: While the filament works well with the Toybox printer, it’s worth noting that it doesn’t fit on the spool provided by Toybox. This means you need a bit of creativity and patience when feeding it into the printer, especially during longer prints. I found myself having to come up with makeshift solutions to ensure smooth feeding. Bicolor Effect: The standout feature of this filament is the bicolor effect. It brings a new dimension to the prints, making them more vibrant and interesting than if I had used a single color. The way the colors blend and contrast in different designs really makes the final products pop and adds an element of fun to the printing process. Value: In terms of value, I find this filament to be a great deal. It’s priced reasonably, especially considering the unique bicolor effect and the quality of the prints it produces. Delivery: As a Prime member, the quick delivery was a huge plus. It arrived promptly, well-packaged, and ready to use, which was convenient and appreciated. Overall: Despite the minor inconvenience of having to manage the spool issue, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The quality of the filament, combined with the unique bicolor effect and the value for money, makes it a great addition to my 3D printing supplies. ***editting again because every time I try to use this crap I hate it even more. I didn’t want to be wasteful but at this point it’s more of a hassle. I’m up at 1 am cleaning little broken filament pieces out of my tubing and my hot end because it’s such crap. The pics are from 8/1 when the brown decided to break and clog up my whole printer. I hate this stuff!!!!*** ***editting because I’m just so frustrated that I’m going to throw all this filament away and since it’s past the return window I’m just throwing away money**** This filament breaks SO much that it’s constantly breaking even when trying to extrude it. I’ve had to disassemble my printers and pull out every broken bit so many times because it just breaks so much. In my Anycubic printers with tubing, it breaks in the tubing. In my creality printers it breaks mid print and I can’t even trust to leave it unsupervised. It breaks in small pieces getting stuck in the extruded and causing me to have to disassemble my extruded and fish out tiny half inch pieces that are blocking the other mechanisms. This filament is a good price but it snaps really easy. Like mid print it has snapped off on me. It is frustrating too because then I have to babysit the machine until the filament gets to the extruder so I can add new filament to the print. I’m past my return window but will not be buying this again.

For info: I have a 3D printing business and sell physical prints. For FDM, I have a BambuLabs X1CC (actually two) and while the printer is excellent and can probably print with yard trimmer line, some filaments are more difficult than others. My experience with MIKA3D filaments has consistently been great. NOTE: At the time of this writing, I have not used this particular color combo yet but I have been fine with blind buying anything they make. I have used their "neon" filaments which are also 3 colors runing the length of the filament like this with great success. I have also used their two-colored, rainbows and blends. They are in my top 5 PLA filaments to buy based on price, availability, ease of use and consistent quality. In a world where you can find lower quality filaments at $10-16$ a kilo they can be pricier than many but still not crazy expensive. I will add pictures and any additional specific comments when I have used this in a few days. Even so, MIKA3D has a proven track record with me and I would stock up on this or any of their other filaments with no hesitation at all. Bambu Users: MIKA3D uses cardboard spools which are recyclable but the AMS unit does not like them. However, they work great with ring adapters you can easily print ahead (easy to find on makerworld). They are sized nicely so that with the adapters work perfectly in the AMS as if they were a Bambu Labs spool. I printed 3 pairs of adapters up front and it adds only seconds to your spool placement if you use an AMS.
