  • Reliable PLA with consistent prints and no tangles
Color: 1000g Pla Black Size: 1 kg
I’ve been using this SUNLU PLA filament on my 3D printer and overall it’s been very consistent and reliable. The spool came neatly wound, and importantly, I haven’t run into any tangles at all during use. That alone makes it less stressful than some cheaper filaments where you’re constantly watching for feed issues. Print quality has been solid across multiple prints. Layer adhesion has been dependable on standard PLA settings, and I didn’t need to make many slicer adjustments compared to other brands I’ve used. It just works without much tuning, which is nice for everyday printing. The black color is deep and consistent throughout prints, with no noticeable fading or patchiness. Surface finish comes out clean as long as your settings are dialed in properly. ... show more

  • I am really impressed with how the color pops!
Color: 1kg Transparent Pla Green Size: 1 kg
I’ve used several different colors of Sunlu’s transparent filament, and it has never disappointed me. This particular color is gorgeous — vibrant, clean, and perfect for the project I bought it for. I’m currently making transparent characters from The Very Hungry Caterpillar so my wife can use them with her preschool students. The idea is that the kids can act out the story on their light table as she reads, and I think they’re going to absolutely love it. As expected from Sunlu, the filament prints beautifully. It’s easy to work with, consistently feeds well, and the spool is tightly wound with no tangles. I’m running it on my Bambu printer, and it performs great. Overall, I’m really impressed with how bright and crisp the prints look. ... show more

  • Quality printing
Color: 1000g-pla Bone White Size: 1 kg
I recently purchased these filaments and I’m really impressed with their quality. They print exceptionally well, producing a smooth and consistent finish. The color is perfect for creating realistic flesh tones or for printing dinosaur bones, and it also works great as an accent color for other projects. This filament comes from a highly respected company in the 3D printing industry, which gives me confidence in its reliability and performance. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good
Color: 1000g Pla Black Size: 1 kg
I am equally satisfied with both the print quality and the strength of the material. The finished prints are clean and neat, with virtually no stringing or overspill, and the surface finish is uniform. Throughout the entire process, there were no issues such as nozzle clogs, filament breaks, or inconsistent extrusion. The material exhibits excellent bed adhesion and interlayer bonding, resulting in parts with good toughness—they are not brittle and are resistant to breaking. Given this level of quality, the price is very competitive. After comparing it in actual use, I believe it is on par with the original filament I’ve used before—equally excellent. The filament also has a beautiful, subtle matte finish, resulting in a high-quality, premium-looking final product. The overall user experience is excellent. ... show more

  • Perfect for the Bambu P1S—Consistent and AMS Compatible
Color: 1000g Pla Black Size: 1 kg
I’ve been running this SUNLU Black PLA through my Bambu Lab P1S in my basement workshop, and it has been incredibly consistent. For the price, it’s a reliable "set it and forget it" filament that handles both technical parts and creative models with ease. The AMS Advantage: One of the best things about this specific filament is that it comes on a plastic spool. If you use a Bambu AMS, you know that cardboard spools can be hit-or-miss—they create dust and sometimes slip. These plastic spools spin perfectly without needing any printed rim adapters or extra modifications. Performance & Print Quality: Consistent Winding: The "neatly wound" claim is accurate. I haven’t had a single tangle or snag, which is critical for long, unattended prints. Dimensional Accuracy: My articulated models and fidget sliders come out moving freely right off the plate. The +/- 0.02 mm tolerance ensures that moving parts don’t fuse together. Low Odor: Since my printer is in a basement with restricted ventilation, I really appreciate that this has almost zero smell during the printing process. Bed Adhesion: It sticks perfectly to the PEI plate without needing any glue or special settings. Final Verdict: If you want a budget-friendly filament that is 100% compatible with the Bambu ecosystem and provides smooth, repeatable results, this is a great choice. It’s a solid workhorse for anyone who wants high quality without the premium price tag. ... show more

  • Great quality, but tangles or binds Great quality, but tangles or binds
Color: Bundles 10kg - Black+bone White+grey+bro... Size: 10 kg
Absolutely love the bone white, OD green and tan! Prints well However; every roll I've used produces a failed print do to a bind in the roll. Filament gets stuck between the side of roll and the layer under it. Might have to print a tangle breaker.

  • Clear PLA is also pretty much the best PLA Clear PLA is also pretty much the best PLA
Color: 1000g-pla Transparent Size: 1 kg
**Update** I have a recent lightsaber project I'm putting together for my friend and tried out the silver PLA, and once again got pretty impressive results. Didn't need to do anything crazy, standard 200/60 temps and a PEI steel sheet to print on top of. The results came out really clean and I'm really pleased. Based on this I can vouch for the basic color blends as well as the clear.** If you're looking for a clear PLA that can print like glass, this one gives pretty good results. You will have to tweak your printer settings and use 100% infill in order to get there- consult youtube and websites like printables for more info. Some experimentation is probably necessary for this. What I really wanted to talk about is how good this specific blend of PLA is to print compared to most other PLAs I've ever tried. This material is not only strong (bending in the "weak direction" perpendicular to the layers this is only mildly less strong than certain tough PLA+ blends), but most importantly it prints with a consistency that outclasses most other PLAs I've tried. There are two prints specifically that highlight how good this material is for intricate or tough to print structures. A print in place MicroSD box (a popular design on thingiverse and printables), and a replica rollcage. You will notice on these websites that the PIP MicroSD box is extremely hard to print, with many people unable to get the arms to move because they've fused or are dimensionally inaccurate. I had this problem while trying my vast array of Flashforge, Inland, Creality and other filaments, but the one that did work on the first try with zero fuss and no fiddling on my ender 3 V2 was the Sunlu Clear. After printing with default no tweak printer settings, it just worked with the arms freely moving after I popped it off the bed. Similarly, I've had a heck of a time trying to print the rollcage design with other filaments, and even with Cura's revised tree supports they did not come out right. The vertical bars sometimes messed up and either failed completely or looked saggy or goopy. Frustrated after several hours of trying different settings and in particular wasted PLA, I took out the Sunlu Clear and it printed first try, and in fact it probably didn't need any supports at all except for the rear horizontal bars. Basically perfect out of the box. I never had to do anything crazy to print this material, just set the printer to 200 deg F and the bed to 60 deg bog standard settings and just let it go. I have to assume that this is likely because the clear contains less fillers than any colored blend. Regardless, if you are looking to print some complex and tough models, I would recommend giving this a try. ... show more

  • Great filament for prototyping, save the expensive stuff for your final print! Great filament for prototyping, save the expensive stuff for your final print!
Color: 1000g Pla Black Size: 1 kg
Bang for the buck it works great. I use it for my test models and it does just what I need. Maybe with some experimentation I could eliminate the only noticeable issue, that would be warping at the edges as it cools and lifts off the plate. Not horrible, but it does happen. Don't know if it's enclosure, plate or head temp that is needs tweaking, but I've never have any such issue on my CORE ONE+ using Joseph's genuine filaments. Bottom line, if I'm going to burn a bunch PLA mocking up a prototype this does the job. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Now that I'm looking at the picture I'm posting I also see some signs of stringing, very minimal though. Then some layer imperfections all at locations where internal features begin and end. They all have to do with my printers settings, I'm sure they could be worked out if I had the time or a Filament Profile. I just checked and PrusaSlicer, they have 3 Sunlu profiles(PETG, PLA & PLA+ 2.0). I'll take a look at the profile and see what settings have been modified. Hunch is that it will fix all my problems with this product. If it does, I'll come back and give it 5 stars. Happy Printing! ... show more
