A note to Bambu users - don't run this in your AMS until you have used at least 100-150 grams. My AMS unit struggled to pull this back until it lightened up a bit, and would get stuck and throw an error. Now it works just fine! Onto the glow factor, it works and looks cool. The prints come out looking great, nice details and good adhesion. Worth the money!

Follow the guidelines that are shipped with the filament as far as speed and temp settings and you shouldn’t have any issues, I like the color haven’t really printed big enough to fully appreciate the multicolor but it’s pretty easy to use with no extruding issues so far. Printing on an Ender 3 Pro

Final Update: AMOLEN was timely in offering to send out a new roll in an actual box that was not broken and I am very grateful they took the time to do so. Updated my review accordingly, the plastic itself is fantastic. Finally opened it after ordering a while and the spool is broken which doesn’t work for my printer (it sits in a dehumidifier) so this roll is unusable. I’ve never seen this kind of breakage before but they really need to rethink their packaging. Update: I was able to glue the broken piece back on and use the spool, it is great filament otherwise. AMOLEN has contacted me and stated they will be updating their packaging to prevent this from happening again. I raised my review from 1 star to 3 stars, if I order from them again or get a spool from them with an actual box I will give them 5 stars.

Lowered to 1 star: This is my second roll. I like the first so much, I bought a second. In total this is 4 my 4th roll from this company in 2 colors. They really need to work on their quality control. This role and my other multi color role from them is so wet that it wont bond, even at the highest recommended temp on the roll. I guess i'll throw this one in the oven for a few hours and see what happens. Otherwise, it's completely useless and a waste of time to attempt to print. Update: After drying in the oven and cranking the temp and it still won't bond to itself. I'm returning the roll. Original Review was 5 stars This PLA has a nice finish and comes out strong and smooth. I really like it.

Filament showed up in an undamaged box but spool was broken. I needed it right away and didnt have time to exchange it so I had to transfer it to a different spool. Prints turned out good It seems to be way more silver than blue. I dont expect alot of strength from it, as it is a silk filament. I think it was a bit overpriced but overall i'm satisfied.

Update: I contacted the company and am very pleased. They agreed to make the situation right and replace the tangled roll. I have purchased from them in the past without problem. Just took a lil time for me to find how to contact them.

A little about my setup so the review has all the information needed. Printer: Prusa MK3S+ (stock 0.4 brass nozzle and diamondback 0.4mm nozzle) Enclosure: Printer-box (also stock) Filament: PLA Filament 1.75mm Silk Shiny Filament Blue Silver Filament Temp: 210 nozzle, 60 Bed Slicer: Prusaslicer The Good - I have done 5 different type of prints with the same spool. An articulated dragon, a large vase stl (using it as a filament waste trash can), a dry box with clamps, some chip clips and an octopus that has its tentacles raised. Every single one came out looking beautiful with a very minimal amount of stringing. The amount of a color before changing to the next color is spot on and even throughout the spool. It's nice and smooth and gradual, then solid for a bit before moving to the other color. No problems with bed adhesion with what I printed on the smooth PEI sheet. The Bad- The spool is wound exactly like you see in the pictures above. Haphazardly. Reminded me of when a kid has to do chores so only does it enough that it's passable but not enough to be considered to be done correctly. Thankfully I didn't get any parts that were knotted but I was worried the whole time that next 'noise' was the horribly wound spool messing up. The REALLY BAD is that the filament clogged 3 times. (Not a nozzle change problem) Three times in one single spool! I've tried 5 other brands of filament and I didnt have a single clogged nozzle till I used this. I've gone through two other spools from another brand and no problems either. For this reason alone I won't buy them again. Kinda sucks as the prints actually are beautiful.
