This "printer food" is really nice. The color is bright and it worked well in the Toy Box brand 3D printer. It is cheaper than many of the other spools, and the colors are vivid. There was no issue with jamming or heating up to the necessary temperature.

I love the colors and how it prints, wish they would make the spools a little wider to be more compatible with all filament systems. A lot of issues in the CFS due to the rolls being too narrow. I run cool plates and the adhesion is good. Running small fine prints it can be a little brittle. I would suggest drying the filament as it can string a bit at 45-50% humidity.

The media could not be loaded. After years of pretty much continuous 3d printing, I am pretty jaded about filaments and how they often lack the same brilliance shown in their promotional photos and videos once I’ve used them at home. Not the case with this filament. It is pretty in the pictures, but it’s way, way more amazing in person. This is officially my favorite filament that I have ever used. It reminds me of the “oil slick rainbows” you sometimes see on the ground after a light rain. This color way is clearly not idea for some projects. It’s extremely busy, and the color change is incredibly short (which is what creates the awesome effect). But for the right prints, it’s so, so good. Added bonus: it does neat things under a black light, as well. The other new colors in the S-series are also pretty, but this is my favorite. Works fine out of the box on Bambu X1C AMS AND Bambu P1S AMS. Also ran the smaller roll direct extrusion on my X1C with no problems. Print with normal generic PLA settings on Bambus.

The media could not be loaded. This PLA silk filament has a really unique look, I’d describe it as a muted silver rainbow with a glossy, almost metallic finish. It especially stands out on moving prints like fidget pieces, where the gradient shift really shows. Quick verdict: Great print quality and finish with minimal issues, just keep an eye on spool winding during your printing. ✅ What I liked: -High success rate. Even smaller, more fragile prints came out clean without brittleness or breakage. -Strong color & finish. Opaque with a smooth, glossy shine that really highlights the color transition. -Good bed adhesion. On a clean, smooth PEI bed, I didn’t experience warping or lifting. -Easy to print with. Didn’t require any major setting adjustments to get good results. -Minimal stringing: Very clean prints so far. (Recommended temp range: 210–240°C) ⚠️ Things to consider: Spool winding issue: About a quarter into the roll, I started noticing the filament loosening and unwinding on the spool, which can affect feed consistency if not watched closely. ⭐ Tips for use: -Because of the winding issue, I wouldn’t leave long prints unattended. -Check periodically during prints to prevent tangling or feed interruptions. ⭐️Best for decorative prints and display pieces. Fidgets, mechanical prints, and geometric prints where movement highlights the color shift. Beginners and experienced users both looking for a visually striking filament will likely appreciate this filament. Overall, this product delivers really nice results in both appearance and print quality. The winding issue is something to be aware of, but it hasn’t outweighed the overall performance for me. I liked it enough to purchase a second spool for once I run out! I’d recommend it to others looking for a silk filament with a unique finish. ⭐️ I included photos to show print quality & gradient colors, particularly in fidget models.
