Great quality. Doesn't look thick but gives the bottom of the pool a nice soft feel and hides small imperfections of the pool base (sand pad). I found it very easy to remove the wrinkles from our 16ft pool liner. This was my first experience setting up a pool so I can't say for sure if this pad is what made the liner smoothing so easy but I did read some reviews stating as much when trying to decide which pad to buy. I read up on multiple similar items when deciding which one to buy and I'm glad I went with this one. Absolutely no complaints. Get this one. You won't regret it. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Item reviews and price Thickness: Good thickness. Feels great under feet. Size: 18ft Ease of installation: Extremely easy. This is perfect for under a pool, we put about 1 dump truck load of sand down, then pounded it and put this on top. As soon as you put the pool up and add the water it sinks to where it needs to be and stays there for as long as you need it to.. thickness is just right, it hasn’t torn with us and the size is 21ft across.

Needed to replace our pool liner and pad. I was a little hesitant spending this much on a pad because there were so many others so much cheaper. Well, cheaper is not always better!! Could tell the difference instantly. Ordered a 24ft round for our above ground pool and it fit perfectly. So much nicer and thicker that our original pad. Now that it's in and we are swimming again, you can feel the difference in thickness!
