So I ordered this incubator because it holds more eggs than most others out there. It really is huge, I didn't try to stuff it with 35 eggs but it could definitely hold that many regular sized eggs. The lid is high, so it could easily hold duck or goose eggs. To do a test run I set 10 eggs. My broody hen was sitting on some but I did this in case those didn't make it given the hot weather. The incubator held temperature and humidity well, and my hygrometer verified the humidity was as it said. Adding water is easy. It also rolls the eggs every 90 minutes I think. This too worked well. The candler works fine, but I do prefer to use my own separate candle for less light leakage. In the end I got six chicks, some of which you can see in my picture. The others weren't fertile so no fault of the unit. Gave them to my hen who hatched a couple of her own, and she was thrilled with her babies. So am I! For the price and capacity, you can't beat it.

Firstly I didn't believe it would hold 35 eggs. So I went to Costco and bought 24 eggs for a test. As you can tell by the photo, it held all 24, and my count showed I could get another 8 in. So they claimed 35 eggs, I got could have fit 32 large chicken eggs. I'll call that good. Next, it got up to temperature and humidity and stayed there. Now it took quite a while to get to temp, but I take the blame for that as there were 24 eggs just out of the fridge in the incubator, and I set it on a cold, ceramic tile, floor (a longer electrical cord would be nice.... had to put it there to get it closer to the outlet). Another plus there, I'd say. It rolled every 90 minutes like it was set to. It wasn't that hard to set up. Two more positives. All in all an effective incubator that should help the aspiring chicken mogul achieve their aims. 4 stars because it does everything well, but doesn't stand out, and because, while not excessively priced, it's not a great buy (mine was listed around $100 when I ordered it). If you need a good, moderate capacity incubator, you'll find this one does the job very well.

The first incubator I ever had was ordered out of a comics book many years ago! It was such a piece of trash that I dumped it as soon as I opened the box! It could barely fit 3 or 4 eggs, the heat was given by a tiny lamp and was made of a thin cheap plastic. I would not dare to risk the eggs...So I made me one out of cardboard with a "heat" lamp. Got more than 95% success rate! I should be able to achieve the same of better results with this incubator because it has features I did not have in my "box" which only had a thermometer. This has an air circulating fan for more stable and uniform heat, humidity control system, an integrated light to check progress, and a digital display for temperature and humidity. Much easier to control, and got to love the all around clear dome for great visibility. It would take 35 average sized chicken eggs...Almost $100, but great "educational" tool...Kids would experience on their own the development of a new life from an egg...Just in an easier way than I did as a child...

Has been a great incubator. Never had it drop temp. I do not need to use the water pump as I live in a very humid area but its nice to know it is there in case I need to use it. The wire tucked away nicely that connects to the rollers. This has been a problem I have dealt with with other incubators where the wire gets wrapped up underneath the eggs as they turn. The included insulation covers the incubator very well. It's easy to set up and use. Nothing bad to say about this one. Go for it.

This thing is amazing. It is very large and will hold up to 35 eggs. The mechanism itself is fairly rudimentary however it works well. Description doesn’t tell you that it also comes with a feeder and water so that the chicks can have food and water once they hatch and stay in the incubator a few days. I am extremely happy with this purchase.
