I really like this Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation and I’m giving it 4 stars. The shade Soft Tan matches my skin beautifully and gives a natural, smooth finish. It’s lightweight and feels comfortable on the skin without feeling heavy or cakey. I noticed that it helps minimize the look of pores and controls oil throughout the day, which is great for my combination skin. The coverage is buildable, so it’s easy to go from a light everyday look to more coverage where I need it. I’m not giving it 5 stars only because the wear time isn’t quite as long as some higher-end foundations I’ve tried, and it can fade a bit by the end of the day. Amazing!! I don't love to support this company but after trying to be a consistent with ethical brands, I finally broke. I just wanted to try it, but now I fear it is the only thing that works for me. Especially with the Elf scandal, I'm not sure where else to look. I am sure I will keep looking, but if you need something that works in a pinch, this is your best shot. I have combination skin and it actually lasts all day without literally melting off my face like everything else (it may need a quick powder touch up after all day but that's my preference, I can't tell between glowy and oily but it's still on the glowy side) It doesn't clump up or get super dry and the concealer is AMAZING.
