I needed a 16A EVSE for the outside of my front porch - and this unit fits the bill nicely. While not the cheapest, it has a good balance of quality and price. I like the display - which shows all the critical information but at the same time, has a really high quality look to it. I would even say the (no name) brand name "Raylix" cheapens the unit cosmetically! Function-wise, this charger is perfect, and I also appreciate that the package includes a wall mount for the charger unit. I already have a cable and charge connector mount on my wall, so this fits perfectly. Just make sure you have the 240V NEMA6-20P (20A outlet) receptacle for it. This charger will of course also function with regular 110V-120V with the included adapter, but you really need 240V to get the most use out of it.

I needed a 120V charger, because I found out that using only Superchargers was not the best thing for my battery. I didn't have a 240V outlet in my garage. I don't do a lot of driving and found that I only need to charge the car overnight every other evening. The unit will also run on 240V when I have an 240V outlet installed. This saves additional money over Superchargers, which already saved from the cost of fuel. It works great and is easy to use. Just plug it into an outlet and attach it to the vehicle and go to bed. In the morning you have 80%. It is really quick since I am sleeping through most of it. I recommend it highly, especially those who need a charger that works on 120V and 240V.

Great J1772 Charger for My tesla Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I have owned EVSE cables for 5 years now. Therefore, I am very familiar with them and how they function. Pros: 1. The flexibility of having both 110 volt and 220 volt options, It comes with adaptor for 110 & 220 volt I mainly use the charger in my garage with 120v. At 12 amps, it adds about 6-8 miles per hour. PLENTY for most days. 2. Built-in screen shows voltage, current, and power in real time 3. Adjustable amps and timer function (I set it to start at 10PM to save on electricity) 4. The cable is long, so I can park outside the garage and still use the socket on the garage wall. so far so good, if anything changes, will update this review Highly recommend for anyone with a J1772 EV looking for a dependable home charger

Nice charger. It works very well. My only complaint is having to unplug the unit when charging is complete. I don't like pulling the 220V plug from the wall socket. The charger should have a built-in switch or auto-off. Other than that, it's a great charger.

Works well and charges my S90 volvo very quickly with the 120v connection. I have yet to install a 220v line. When I do I will update my review. Well built and seems like it will last. It comes with mounting hardware that is pretty solid

I returned the product! Used it and it does work however, the temperature of the cable and the unit got way hot and when I read the temperature on the unit display, it was reading 172 F. When running it at 32 amps. Everything seemed to work fine so I tried to see what the 172F temperature was reading from in the manual and I could not find an answer. Then I tried to look up the company on the web and could find nothing on them minus what Amazon had on their site. Then I went to click on customer service for the company in the Amazon site and it took me to a page that didn’t work. After realizing I was going to be going to bed with this thing charging my car in my garage while my family was in the house it was not worth risking. Sent it back. Zero ways to get ahold of their customer service. Doesn’t seem to be a real company.
