These are lightweight and movable, a good thing. But I found out after I got them that sunlight will ruin them. I need them for my garden. In full sun. I can mulch quite a bit, but not everywhere, this will be a real problem for me. I will need to find permanent mulched perennial beds for this lot and buy replacements. Grrr. Also, if the connection is lower than the end of the soaker hose, the end will not get any water. Distribution is uneven. If you mulch heavily, this is a good deal, if you don't, I'd pass on these.

I use this product for watering my flower beds. It works good as a soaker hose but it can tend to flood at the end of the hose with less water at the beginning of the house so you want it on a very flat surface.

This style provides a steady, consistent drip along the hose which is exactly what I want.I bought these hoses hoping that I would finally be able to have peace of mind that my garden could survive without me having to check each plant for soil moisture.I have a long, thin raised plant bed in my back yard that's difficult to water by itself. I either had to use a sprinkler, which covered an odd area and had to be readjusted while watering, or a hand-held sprinkler, which meant I had to stand out in the heat until I was sure the plants got enough water.This new soaker hose "drips" vs "squirts" - little beads of water that flow along it and down into the soil with less evaporation and waste (important in drought areas). I just laid it in the plant bed and adjusted it around the plants. I turned on the water and walked away. I let it run for about an hour and, when I came back, the plants were watered! I bought a 25ft-2 soaker hose, which easily attached to the first, and it winds across, down, across, and up the slope around the tree. So far I'm very happy with this product!

I purchased these at the end of May because I have a new flower bed around our address sign. I was able to weave one hose in-between the petunia plants nicely, attached a regular hose and a timer to the faucet and it takes care of watering my flower bed without another thought. I used two more attached together in my garden for the tomatoes and pepper plants. Perfect way to water them without getting blight. It also came with a splitter to put on the faucet or to use two hoses in different places. They all are working nicely. I would order again.

Love the idea of these hoses! I set up two attached to each other and for the first 3 days it was amazing. I have them watering a line of bushes along a fence line. Unfortunately, on day 4 the hose failed near the input nozzle. Now there is a steady stream of water coming from the hose on the front end, which severely impacts the output down the line. Too bad, this would be great if it was more robust.
