there is no temperature control or control over the rate at which the cooking item rotates nor any adjustment to the height over the heat source. the rotation is adequate but you will need to keep the coals at a low setting, high heat will burn your food even though it slowly rotates. I found it worth the money but it won't take your outdoor grilling to the next level. With its fixed height I found out that the rotation speed is slow enough that if the heat gets too hot it will severely Chrisp your chicken. but if your looking to add a rotisserie to your weber this works okay. It was easy to assemble, no issues there at all. I have no regrets on the purchase whatsoever. If it had a height adjustment to put more distance between the item being cooked and the coals being used to cook it. I could give it a rave review. but it works well enough for the purpose it was designed for and wouldn't discourage your purchase.

Unlike the costly Weber rotisserie unit, this one fits over the edge of the grill and is stable. Have used it three times so far and the rotisserie motor seems to have enough power to keep 15 pounds of meat rotating smoothly. I would think a 20 pound turkey should be no problem. The counterweight is a nice addition, but have not had a reason to use it yet. I got this in stainless steel to match the RT-B380X.

Started out with 2 full turkey breasts. Brined and seasoned, spitted opposite of each other. Needed to stop about an hour and and shove them together to stop flopping. Very smooth, quiet and sturdy. Wish I'd gotten one years ago!

I've wanted a rotisserie for the kettle since I bought it. Finally someone made one at an affordable price. Well made and very sturdy. Could use a heat shield towards the motor, as I'm getting some smoke discoloration on the motor. But it makes the best chicken!
