Wish I had just got these earlier. Much better quality than the plastic ones. Easy to install, however they do like to twist some by the hose and can start to leak.

    • Does exactly as promised without any problems as long as you use plumbers tape liberally.

It works well and says my back from bending over while spraying. Anyone who complains of leaks, must not know how to apply plumbers tape to the joints. Leakage when you turn off, the Control lever is simply spray fluid caught in the wand distal to the lever that’s draining out to be expected. Also, remember that round up and some of the other fertilizers or herbicides are acidic and may corrode the inside of the wand. Simply rinse it out well three times after using and drain any fluid from the end of the wand when done. Don’t let roundup sit next to your metal parts for long periods of time, even though they claimed to be brass or stainless steel. ... show more

I bought this sprayer in the spring and just finally got around to using it. In the middle of the second time using it around my yard, the wand came apart before finishing spraying herbicide - IN TWO PLACES! I REALLY wanted to like this sprayer wand. I love the length of it with the extension for the wand, as walking along with a backpack sprayer, you can get herbicide right down to weeds and where you want it without the overspray a shorter wand would distribute from a higher height. The problem has to do with the connection seams just ABOVE the attachments' tightening rings - one of which screws and tightens onto the handle piece and the other is on the wand extension. BOTH of those seams just came apart. And I take great care of equipment - no rough treatment or dropping. I was really irritated when the first seam failed, and just 10 minutes later, the second one did - spilling herbicide all over where I didn't want it. And the ring tighteners have nothing to do with either seams' point of failure - as the seams immediately above the tightening rings have no connecting strength. I know it's been a few months, but the seller should either refund me or send me another one - this has to be a manufacturing defect! ... show more

Continuously had to deal with low pressure spray from the wand on my 2 gallon HDX hand pump sprayer from Home Depot. Replaced the wand with this and the difference is amazing, would 100% recommend and hopefully it holds up over time. Be sure to check the piece at the base of the handle the barb screws on to, it comes attached but mine needed to be tightened to avoid leaks. ... show more

much better than the hardware that came with my sprayer - which unfortunately isn't saying a whole lot by itself. Mostly stainless steel, with care it should last a long time. Compared to the plastic junk my sprayer came with this seems grossly over built - it's not, but a side by side comparison is pretty funny actually. The only part that may cause problem is the plastic main body - but it's solid and should be good for a while. Well worth the price. ... show more

The handle and on/off valve work well. The nozzle end only has about 1 1/2 threads to attach it to the wand. It is a very fragile attachment point. At least it was cheap and might last one season
