- EXTRA THICK AND SUPER DURABLE. The key to an effective above-ground pool winterizing kit is the material quality. This winter pool cover boasts a 14 14 scrim count (the industrys top standard) and the density of 185 gsm. Also important in pool covers for above-ground pools are the seams: poorly done, they will let dirt through. Our pool covers patent-pending sealing technology prevents it and keeps the water inside uncontaminated until spring.
- PROTECTION FROM SUNLIGHT AND OVERGROWING. When choosing a pool closing kit for above-ground pools, remember that winter sun is deceiving. UV radiation from it doesnt drop during colder months as much as temperature does, so any materials left outside are at risk of damage. Thats why the cover in our pool closing kit has LDPE coating on it thats been tested to withstand solar UV radiation. Also, the BLACK UNDERSIDE of the round pool cover wont let the water overgrow.
- HIGHLY RESISTANT TO COLD. If you live in a place where winters are bitter, your above-ground pool protection needs to be able to survive low temperatures on top of keeping precipitation and debris out of the pool. Unlike a simpler pool tarp, this swimming pool cover will cope with the cold as bad as 10 F (25 C). On the other end of its temperature resistance range, the pool wrap shows impressive stats, too: it can handle the heat of up to 180 F (80 C).

I am a very critical person when it comes to a company making big claims about how great their product is over others. This cover not only survived its first winter, but it did so flawlessly! It was exposed to every stress test. Filled with water over the fall and was pulled tight on the pool as typically happens.. filled with leaves, tree branches, and debris... then it all froze solid for the winter. Upon opening my pool this spring, not only was this cover in perfect condition, but there was not a single pincture, rip, or tear anywhere. Including the eyelets which is probably the most failure-prone stress points. Most importantly, the wintered pool water was still clear. None of that brown leafy muck made it through! Every other cover I've tried has been shredded after only one winter. Even with their grandiose claims that they'll last 10-20 years. They never last. Total throw-away after one measily winter. Not this one! It stood up! I am amazed! Is it expensive? yes.. worth it? Definitely. It's very well constructed, has extra stitching where it needs it, and is noticeably thicker material than the others. Even if I only get 3 years out of it, it's still a better value than having to buy a new cheap one every year. All things considered, it lives up to the hype for sure, and I couldn't be happier with it!

Cover / Tarp is a good weight and thickness. Covered the pool really well all the way around. After 1 winter, in Virginia (2024-25), the cover / tarp itself held up better than some of the others I have tried. No holes but a few worn spots. This one will be used for a second season. The winch is a true waist, did not work well at all. The wind would blow the cover up and the cable would come loose with the winch. I believe it is the same type of winch sold with every cover system. We used a ratchet strap with the cord that came with the cover / tarp. This worked really well. Only gave it 4 stars because of the winch. I would purchase again because of the way the cover held up.

The winter cover is super thick. We bought last year at the end of the season to replace our existing cover. Unfortunately, we noticed a small tear in the seam a week or so ago. Uncovered our pool and it was still crystal clear. Contacted customer service through email, they responded within a day. Sent my amazon confirmation of purchase and a couple of pictures and they are replacing without any hassle. This by far is some of the best customer service I have seen in a company in a long time. This is definitely worth purchasing. I dealt with Alex and he was courteous and timely. Again, all done through email which is a great way to handle an issue. Thank you.

This is the best pool cover we have ever purchased. We have always ordered the name brand deluxe pool cover in the past and they have never lasted more than one year due to the harsh weather we have in the Midwest. It was covered with ice and snow most of the winter and held up very well. We removed it today to find a pool that will not require much upon opening. This cover stood up and kept all the debris out. And the best part is we will be able to reuse it for a few years. It is so durable. We are very pleased customers and highly recommend purchasing one.

Well, living here in the Northeast of Pa., the winters are relatively mild, yet unpredictable, however I have gone thru my fair share of winter pool covers. As I just got a new pool this year, and it was time to buy a cover again, I looked for weeks at this cover online, but just couldn't pull the trigger due to its price point (until now 🙃). Well, the cover was delivered, and the box was handed to me, and I really wasn't shocked by the weight of the box (felt heavy, but comparible to my last one). HOWEVER, after unboxing it, it was clear that this cover is without a doubt quality. The color is nice, but the toughness of this cover is "hands-down" much better than any I ever owned in the last 35 years! I'm not saying there are mot better winter covers, but I am saying that it's the best I've ever dealt with, and I've had at least 10 by now. I can honestly say that I'm very pleased with this purchase, and hope to get many years of use.

Bought in July 2023 and was easy to install. Ratchet needs better quality but not an issue as I just used what I had. First year winter cover done great but this past winter I noticed small pinholes starting on the south facing side (direct sunlight). Started to cover with gorilla tape when cover fell apart as if it was dry rotted. (Cover was cleaned, air dried and put up for pool season) reaching out to the company, they were very prompt on returning my email and addressed the issue after I sent photos of what I had they sent a replacement cover in 2 weeks. Side note- it probably would have come sooner but we just had 10” of snow so delivery took a bit. Well pleased with how easy they are to work with
