I've owned this for about a month and it has worked flawlessly so far. No guide wires required, just drive it (via the phone app) around your yard and save the area. Unfortunately, you can't edit the map once you accept it, so if you cut a corner too close you will need to re-map the area. There is an undo feature while you're mapping, so that's helpful. It's a small unit, and I have super thick bermuda grass - so I've only cut a max of about 1/4"-1/2" per mowing. The cut is very good. I plan to cut 2 times per week until late June, and then once the growing season starts in July I'll switch to 3-4 times per week. The reason I bought this unit was to tame the back yard, as we have fast growing bermuda, and cutting once a week with a regular mower was creating a **lot** of clippings and thatch. I tried cutting twice a week, but 90+ F heat plus a job and I decided I'd try this first. I'm hoping with the more frequent mowings it will reduce clipping size to an easily degradable form, which would be better for the lawn. The app (Android for me) does a lot of things well, but it misses in a few areas. Don't take these as negatives, it's just that there could be a few more positives. 1) There is no direct-to-manual operation mode. 2) There isn't a task library 3) When a task is running, there isn't a way to see the vital stats easily (mowing pattern, cut height, speed, and cut width). The reason cut height is important is that if it detects tall grass, it will raise the cut height on you and there's no way to tell what it is. 4) A parking area for going between zones would be a nice addition. If you have a gate plus dogs, you can't leave the gate open while the unit is cutting, and it will return to recharge at random intervals. It would be nice if it would send you a note that it needs to access the charging station and request the obstacle (i.e. gate) be opened. Just my thoughts. I hope you enjoy the unit if you decide to purchase.

My (2026 Upgrade) Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H (named Earl) so far has been excellent. Prior to purchasing I did a ton of research – almost pulled the trigger last year on purchasing this type of mower. There’s a ton of information – so take your time looking at every mower that may fit your need. There’s a pretty good learning curve of how these robotic mowers operate. Make sure you thoroughly read everything in the instructions. A lot of the stuff is pretty straightforward on how you set everything up. There are no short cuts – again read everything and understand how to set things up. It’s shocking how well Earl can navigate our yard. We have a lot of gardens with flowers and vegetables that require careful mapping with no-go zones. Earl would darn near be in the trash if it mowed over any of my wife’s flowers. Dead Earl and scorned husband – so far so good – please Earl continue your positive track record. Positives for Earl Doesn’t complain and low pay Quiet – no loud music or complaining when he’s mowing the lawn company is always coming out with software updates will work all sorts of hours – night or day can work for hours even in the heat accurate cuts like you won’t believe until you see them – trust me you can’t mow this good Frees up my time so I can relax Cons seriously not many for me – most of the time it’s operator error don’t expect to get inches within a border – but pretty darn close slow – but really that’s OK I am too! All in all I hope Earl lasts for a long time. So far it has been an excellent choice for me

The Luba 2 mini (2026 model) has been everything the promotional material led me to expect. Setting up Bluetooth and WiFi connections was straight forward. It was pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. Connected it to my phone, selected the automatic mapping and watched it roam around the yard. When the map was done, I spent a couple of hours making minor adjustments to its rout to perfect it. After that, I set it loose and it did a near perfect job and dealt with multiple trees, flowerbeds and planter boxes. For me, it was pretty easy to set up and I am thrilled with how well it got the map done and can stick to it reliably. It's mowed 4 times since we got it and I'm totally comfortable having it turn on and mow while I'm away from home or even at night since it's almost silent.

I would advise potential customers to approach with caution. My experience with customer support has been disappointing, particularly given the premium price of the product. Technical issues have not been handled with the level of professionalism or urgency one would expect. Communication has felt inconsistent and at times unhelpful, with progress seemingly dependent on repeated follow ups rather than proactive support. I currently have an unresolved case involving what appears to be a clear warranty issue, and the lack of timely resolution raises concerns about reliability and accountability. Overall performance of the product has also been inconsistent and at times laggy. this is my 2nd issue with the product within a year. At this price point, I expected a significantly higher standard in both product quality and customer care. Buyers should carefully weigh whether the premium cost is justified compared to alternative options available in the market. Worse this product was purchased via company directly.

I got the luba 2 10000h. After a year and a half I have had lots of trouble. Support is of no help. I had to take luba apart and replace the battery. Replace the chargering per supply. Now I had to order a new charging station - there is no infrared beam. I do not recommend luba. If you buy it get the extended warranty.

The mower looks well built and does a great job of mowing the lawn. Nice straight lines and final result looks better than using a standard push mower. The app has a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, setup and changes are easy. It is fascinating to watch and I am the envy of my neighbors!
