Description
FULL WAVE mode(40KHz) for intensive rinse of blind holes or complicated surfaces; HALF WAVE mode (semiwave based on 40KHz, i.e. 33KHz) for rough surface cleaning. This feature removes dissolved air bubbles from the liquid, ensuring ultrasonic waves penetrate deeply for thorough cleaning. Ideal for delicate items like jewelry or precision parts. Power Sweep Mode uses short bursts of ultrasonic waves instead of continuous operation. This reduces heat buildup and mechanical stress, protecting delicate items like jewelry and electronics while still effectively removing dirt. Energy-efficient and ideal for fragile or heat-sensitive materials. Heating can decrease the adhesive strength of oil and wax to stuffs to be cleaned, make the cleaning solution much easiler to create cavitation so as to increase the solution's cavitation level, and then enhance the cleaning effect. Note: the best cleaning temperature is 40~60℃, i.e. 104~140℉. The tank surface layer is treated by electrolysis process to form a protective layer.

We own a small engine repair shop and purchased the 15L for carburetors and other parts. This unit works so well, we plan on purchasing a smaller one for 2cycle carbs and smaller jobs. The unit is relatively quiet, and the large touch is very easy to control. It heats very well, and is quite insulated. After shutting the unit off, the water is still in the 90’s the next day! (as long as you put the lid on.). The temperature is accurate, and within 1 degree. (Checked and monitored with our Fluke thermometer.) Once the temperature is reached, the heater shuts off and turns back on as necessary to keep it at the desired setting. We found that the water usually only gets hotter as you run the unit from the heat of the electronics or perhaps the ultrasonic effects? But usually increases a degree or two. It has a cooling fan in the bottom as the electronics do generate some heat. We have put several carburetors through the unit so far, and we are impressed! The pictured carburetor is off of a snowblower and hadn’t been used in several seasons. After a 30 minute cycle of full wave, and an additional 10 minute on sweep, with water temperature at 150C, the results are impressive! Whats even more impressive? We have been using just water! We did try another carb with some dawn dish soap to experiment, but results have been remarkable. As another experiment, we took some air filters from Husqvarna chainsaws and put them through the half wave cycle. After just 5 minutes those things came out looking like new! We have also done a couple spark arrestor screens, and even tried a fowled spark plug. It actually done really well. As for the longevity of this unit, time will tell. But it does seem built quite well, and comes packaged very well also. So far we are impressed, and the unit is paying for itself.

This little guy is pretty impressive. I like that you can heat the tank before starting the cleaning cycle, it really makes a difference in cleaning effectiveness. Three different cleaning modes seem to tear through dirt and buildup. I primarily use it to clean firearms and parts, it does a great job of unlocking carbon locked parts, breaking up deposits on suppressors, etc. Some scrubbing/scrapping is still required after cleaning cycle, but for the most part, it does a great job. This particular model does not have a drain. I can definitely see how that would make things easier when it comes to emptying the tank to switch between solutions and avoid potential water damage to the unit while doing so. It’s not quiet. It’s also not horrific. It does make my hearing aid freak out though. Overall, I’d probably go up a model to get the drain, but I would recommend this brand.

Great company and it cleans well. I screwed up my 20 L front display board and internal PC Control Board. Tried cleaning a engine part that wouldnt let the lid fit. Thought I could put some towles over it. The towels dripped water right into the front display board. Burnt that and the other internal board. Called sales dept and they sent me both circuit boards from China for free. Cant beat that service. Easy to repair and to get parts.

The only downside I found for this unit is the extremely small font used in the included "manual"/information sheet making it almost entirely unreadable. Plus I was not able to find recommended minimum/maximum water levels marked on the tank. I downloaded the online general manual for all of these units and found this statement under Safety Precautions: "DO NOT operate the unit without fluid in the tank. Always ensure that the fluid is no higher than the max mark and no lower than the minimum depth of 7cm." My first use of this device for baffle cleaning was fairly successful. Overall, I have been manually scrubbing the removable baffles using CLR (works better than Simple Green) taking quite some time and aggravation to get them very clean. The suppressor (with removable baffles) to be cleaned had 400+ rounds of .22LR, 300BLK subs and 300BLK supers through it and was dirty and carbon fouled. I purchased this unit to hopefully make the cleaning process much easier- and it did do that. I performed an initial cleaning test with two baffles each using a plastic baggie 1/3-full of a soapy water mixture, then 100% Simple Green and finally CLR. CLR has proven to work better for manual carbon cleaning. Using this ultrasonic unit for an initial test of 15 min. each with water temperature at room temperature and using Power Sweep mode- CLR was still a better cleaning option of these three materials. Finally I placed all eight baffles into a 1-quart Zip Lock baggie- 1/2 filled with CLR and placed into the ultrasonic's basket sitting in water filled 3/4 of the way to the top of the tank. After 60 minutes runtime (maximum OEM recommended time) I removed all baffles and scrubbed the remaining carbon from the baffles using a bronze bristled brush. The carbon that was left after the ultrasonic completed its 60 minute cycle was fairly easy to remove, as it has been softened greatly. Next time I might try a 60 minute cycle and then a 30-minute cycle, which I suspect would work even better. I did not find this 4L ultrasonic unit to be very loud with the lid in place or removed while in use in my workshop building, unlike what someone else mentioned in the reviews.

I work on bikes for a living. This is not my first ultrasonic cleaner. I've been running them for years. This unit immediately set the tone when I picked it up. There's more here then the other less expensive units I have had. Its a heavier tool than the exact same capacity from other makers. The actual cleaning ability of the machine seems to be superior to other units of lesser price point and it performs at a lower decibel level. Another attribute, but very important to me, is the heating unit is far faster to achieve temps and the thermostat controlling it is near silent when coming on and off. Other lesser units emit a click on and off all day that can drive you up the wall. This DK unit is a non issue in that regard. At first I balked at the additional cost but for someone who uses them on a daily basis this unit is well worth the premium.

Purchased July. 24, 2024. Used it one time to clean carb for lawn mower. Worked great. Cleaned it up and put away until week ago. Pulled it out to clean another carb for generator. Ran 15 minute cycle on full wave and carb wasn't clean. Ran 15 minute cycle on pulse carb still not completely clean. Floated a sheet of aluminum foil on the water and it showed that the only place the ultrasonic waves were in a small 2 inch x 1 inch area near a corner. Eventhough there were ripples on the water surface they were not the ultra sonic waves needed for cleaning. there were no cavitation bubbles hitting the surface to be cleaned. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Tried all modes.. No joy.

The DK Sonic 600PF 6 Liter ultrasonic cleaner has made a very good first impression. Although considerably more expensive than my old "blue label" 6 liter ultrasonic cleaner, it is a much better cleaner. In comparison to my previous one which was half the cost, the DK Sonic sits taller, has Degas, Sweep and two power modes, where the old one is merely "ON" and "OFF". In addition, the DK Sonic has a cooling fan for the electronics for longer cleaning sessions and has a far more effective heater and much better cleaning action, while being considerably quieter. A test of the current draw shows that the DK Sonic is honestly rated, with both the heater and the ultrasonics drawing the advertised amount of wattage, whereas the old unit was considerably less than advertised. As the old one did, the DK Sonic has three transducers. The touch controls take a little getting used to but work well. The display is large and bright and can be seen from a fair distance. In summary, so far the DK Sonic 600PF appears to be well worth the additional expense over the cheaper models.
