I see quite a few less than stellar reviews of this item and I just don’t get it! I’m using Tidy Cats light weight clumping litter and it works great! I liked this so much that I bought a second one! I’ll be buying a third one next month! (Yes we have that many cats!) This litter box has really reduced the amount of litter we’re using. We still have regular litter boxes and the cats still use them but they Really prefer using these! If I was forced to find one little thing to “complain” about it would be the way you have to hook the bag strap on the little hooks in the litter bag area. I just can’t remember what worked best. My products have arrived on time and in perfect condition. I really like the fact that I’m using maybe less than half of the litter I was using before purchasing two of these! I normally don’t recommend things like this but this is the exception! Adding the second little box to the phone app was easy enough for my non tech savvy self! Looking forward to buying our next one!

I absolutely love this litter box. All 4 cats like it and use it. I have two others but they are different. One they still haven’t used. And one they are just starting to use. This is by far the easiest one and easiest for them to adjust to.

This item is NOT compatible with "just " any clumping litter. You MUST get Mixed Tofu clumping litter with bentonite. The best product I found is the Pidan Mix Cat litter, Tofu Cat Litter with Bentonite or try Petkit mixed 5 in 1 clumping cat litter. This also is a Bentonite Tofu cat litter found on Amazon. You CANNOT find this mixed cat litter in the stores. It must be ordered online. If you try any other clumping litter you will be sorely disappointed and the order is horrendous. When you read your manual, it will tell you to use this type of litter. When I reached out to the manufacturer (via e-mail) they said that you can use any small particle clumping litter and any brand. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Once I found the correct litter, as stated in the manual, we had no problems and the litter box worked as described and had order control. I bought two of these automatic cat boxes but returned one because I do not want to keep buying this specialty litter. It is not cheap. I hope this was helpful.

Box arrived on time in good condition, but there was 1 gouge in the side of the box with no damage to the unit. Simple setup. Just plug in. The app is another matter taking many attempts to get connected. Also, there's a QR code in the book which goes to Fraavy.com not Tuya. WTF? And fraavy costs $50/ mo, after 5 days. So, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH FRAAVY. The unit showed with 3 extra rolls of waste bags but only 1 was included. The cat took right to it, inspecting, probing, sniffing and pooping!!

Purchased in April 2024 and now it’s July and the plastic has busted at the bottom. This causes little to fall all over the floor when it turns to clean itself. So disappointing. My kitten is only 2 lbs. This was expensive. Why did this happen?

Made in China probably the most affordable one out there it has many brand names but heck it works fine so far as owning it only since October 2023. So only three months . I only paid $250 since it was on sale . The app shows the cats weight in grams but that’s not a huge problem .
