Always wanted a obd scanner with bi-directional support on this price range. Kingbolen was very helpful to me when deciding to buy this scanner, answered all my questions and concerns prior to purchasing. Even though product description is provided, I don't see any review(s) of this exact product even after gooling so I decided to put some of my brief experience w/ it(away from product description but I think help complement it). The tablet is built like a tank due to its protective cover but still easy to remove when adding micro SD card, no need to use any special tool for this, just your thumb, on my case I started pushing on the corner where the charging port is. You have to use a SIM card tray removal tool needle though or something similar to eject the tray. It is a Lenovo tablet, and specs seems to be better than the product description, Under "About Tablet", 4GB RAM, 64GB storage. I just got it today and have only used it for about an hour on my Subarus, able to do most bi-directional controls on my newer canbus Subaru(2010 outback), able to graph up to 12 pids and easy to add/remove pids. For the older 2005 Forester, most advanced functions are not supported maybe because it's an older vehicle? Also wanted to control AT solenoids on this car but again it's a 2005 and it's Subaru, I learned that a lot of aftermarket scan tools don't have good support for Subaru. For both Subarus, can't get much info about Air Conditioning System. Notified Kingbolen of these issues and was very helpful. I also submitted a report of this using the buil-in reporting feature of the app. So far, I like the product, it's quick for its specifications even after installing all the car manufacturer brands softwares, selecting all PIDs, graphing 12 pids. Another note/tip especially for those new Launch product owner like me, when creating an account using the x431 app in the tablet and you can't continue, you don't have to follow the password requirements of using special characters, Letters and numbers and at least length of 8 will work. Update, added more pictures but only few pictures because it could take awhile for me to upload. Live Data on EOBD. Some installed Softwares but only uploaded few pictures.

Very strong lots of capability for multiple vehicle usage and has a very good Bluetooth range great for a small shop business every day technician or even the weekend warrior mechanic in the backyard. The scant tool has pretty much everything you need as a diagnostic tool but with a great price tag and Customer Service is by far one of the best I have ever dealt with they will get back to you within 24 hours or less, I’m at most times. It’s a lot less time they get back to you right away. Any questions they answer it promptly. Great service great functions operation. Great battery is fantastic. Lesce is very, very long without charging as long as you shut it down properly.

This thing paid itself on1st two jobs I did. I'm still learning how to use I wish that they have a better explanation and educational videos how to do things on different cars. It has lots of power and you can use like a regular tablet. I'm really happy with the purchase

Didn’t work with Jeep’s and to program a key it ask for a code or password and manufacture don’t send it with the scanner want you to go to the Dealership to get the password so it doesn’t work for me I have two cars that need keys reprogram

I really like this launch scanner. So far it has been able to do everything I tried on multiple different vehicles. The bidirectional controls have been really helpful, and I really like that it's Bluetooth as well. I am just a diy guy, not a professional mechanic. So I think this launch scanner will more than cover the types of jobs I will use it for.

Replaced my autel 906ts due to it deleting all vehicles and not being able to retrieve data unless I paid for an active subscription (800usd). So instead I decided to try launch as that is not an active issue. Not disappointed with my choice so far.

Some of the menus are in chinese, and I`m still waiting for someone to fix this. The "intelligent diagnose" function works on fewer car brands, so it`s pretty limited. As described on Amazon, the product should have OEM software, but it`s doubtfull...not enaugh complete functions for professional use. Overall, it`s ok-ish, but it doesn`t worth the money so far. Maybe someone will help me with this ( after having sent a few emails arround), and prove me that I`m dealing with professionals, cause I have a shop to run and don`t have time to chase my tale arround. Thank you for reading me.
