Hung these on several bare leaf trees during the holidays. They held up extremely well in the rain and wind storms we are having in California. They were very festive and unique in our neighborhood. Each unit came with its own remote. The problem was that a remote would control more than one light, but not consistently. There were times a single remote would turn all on or off, and at other times I could not get any remote to work. None of the timers worked. There was no rhyme or reason to these remotes. Sometimes I needed only two remotes to turn on/off 10 units, other times I would have to use 6 or 7. If you can deal with the frustration of the remotes, I would recommend purchasing to brighten up your property.

We love these lights! We have used them Camping and hang them in our Palm Tree. Even though it says โrain protection โ on the Battery Case we still use a small baggie to cover just to make sure they are protected. Now as far as the Remote Controls they worked fine for about 3 weeks then the batteries dies. Tried to open each remote and it is very difficult, plus we rarely use them or lights ( holiday only) BUT it would take a magic wand to open these tiny things. Iโm very tech savvy and tools inclined but a no go. My husband couldnโt open them either. The little catch thing that you squeeze to open will not work. Waiting on the Seller to respond on replacing the remotes. I will UPDATE when I hear back from them. UPDATE: The seller never responded about the remote controls. Not good customer service. Amazon did make it right for me. Thanks Amazon!

This was not worth the price. It did not look very nice. You need multiple lights for it to look good. It would be way too expensive.

These lights look better than expected. They give off a beautiful soft but bright light in our tiki bar. I think a key point is the 200 bulbs; some others have way less. Directions say these are waterproof, but I will take them in during hurricane season (as I do everything outside). I'm storing the remote in a plastic bag to protect it. The remote works fine from a 6' distance if pointed properly. Have not tried the timer yet. Thinking about trying the solar. Wish there was a plug in version.

I bought this to hang in my kitchen at the end of the counter. It is flexible so you can shape it how you wish. My 4 yr old granddaughter said it looks like a spider lol. The lights have different modes & can be dimmed. The remote control works well. I am happy I bought it. Would recommend.

I really loved these when I first put them up a week ago with brand new batteries, but they go through batteries SO quickly. They're really dim on the highest setting and I'll have to replace the batteries within the next day or two. I only keep them on when it's dark outside.
