This is a really strong, heavyweight bike hitch carrier. I installed it on a Tesla Model Y, and it fit perfectly in the factory 2-inch tow hitch. The unit is a little heavy, and aligning it into the hitch can be challenging — it might be easiest with two people. Since the hitch is recessed into the bumper, it was a bit tricky to install the bolt, but a 15/16 socket made tightening it easy. I have two e-bikes, and they fit tightly and securely on the carrier. Loading them wasn’t too difficult without the ramp, though if you’re very small, you might prefer the ramp version. I removed the batteries to save some weight, which made loading even easier. Everything worked well, and I highly recommend this carrier. After removing the bikes, the hitch folds up close to the vehicle, making it convenient for driving when not hauling bikes. Just remember not to pop the trunk while the bikes are on the carrier or when it’s folded up. This is a great bike rack for our lectric xp 3.0 bikes. It seems very sturdy. I am not sure what others are talking about, but I found the rack to be VERY easy to assemble. Start to finish in 15 minutes. I must have gotten the update straps, because I see no issues with them. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the threaded hitch pin. Why threaded??? Now I have to get down there with a wrench every time I need to take the carrier off of the truck. I mean, I tow a boat with a straight hitch pin with now issues...maybe it helps prevent theft??? All in all, a great purchase.

It’s solid once it is in place but it’s hard to stow and heavy to carry. It handles my 2 heavy EBikes perfectly.

Great value. Get the ramp option if you can’t lift your bikes. Solid construction. Both of our Ebikes are 80lbs and this rack held strong. Grab a 27mm socket before install to make installation easier.

I've now put this rack through its paces. Within the first 30 days with light use (from house to bike trailhead), I'd have given it 5 stars. Seemed very strong, durable, and functional at a reasonable price. Now, I've used it on a 3,700 mile trip attached to the back of a 5th wheel. I had one 45 lb e-MTB and one 25 lb MTB. I sorely regret buying this rack. The most significant issue is that the vertical attachment bars become increasingly loose with use. They developed more and more front to back play or "wiggle", so much so that at the extreme arc of both vertical supports with bikes on the rack, the outside vertical support could hit the frame of the inner bike. This happened to me with nasty results. On a long stretch of highway with many bumps, the outer vertical support (holding the outer bike just below the seat) hit and gouged the frame of the inner bike creating significant damage shown in the posted picture. Painfully, the damaged bike was a months old e-MTB. Also, on a drive with the rack folded up without bikes, the clamping mechanism slid off a vertical support and was lost. I must not have clamped it down tight enough. Arguably my fault, but it should not be possible for the most important part of the rack to just slide off during a drive. I had to rig a new "clamp" out of PVC and velcro straps. Finally, each time you rotate the ratchet straps to get them out of the way of the tire, the rotation can loosen the bolts holding the straps onto the frame. I lost one and had to find a replacement at a hardware store.

Been using this carrier for about a year. Has maintained its rigidity and still looks new. Has been a great hauler for our 65 pound e-bikes. Only regret is that it didn’t come with a ramp.

This bike rack is well designed, well built, not too heavy. One custom part, the special washer in the end cap of one of the vertical supports, was defective: There was a burr in the slot, and, worse, the hole is off center. As Amazon doesn't provide replacement parts, and returning something this big & heavy would be wasteful, I'll just have to modify the part. Too bad I can't ask the manufacturer to send me a good part.
