I really love this roof bike rack! It was super easy to install, and my bike fits perfectly on it. Putting the bike on and taking it off is simple, and it stays very stable while driving. The quality feels solid and reliable. Fall is the most beautiful season on the East Coast, and I’m so excited to take my family out for more weekend rides and enjoy the amazing scenery together. After poking around online, I realized that buying this roof bike mount was going to be a leap of faith. I needed a mount that was big enough for my Trek Marlin 5 and I didn’t want to be relying on my buddies to help me transport my bike long distances. I will admit that I bought this for the price and the delivery time for a Thule had me feeling impatient. Still, there aren’t enough reviews to make the potential experience concrete. Installation was very easy. The instructions are clear. The packaging includes a decent 13mm tire-iron style wrench to help with installation. A very good and satisfying experience. Sizing it to my bike was pretty fun. The bike mount itself seems to be of good quality. It looks sleek, there are no corny labels that put you on blast, and it is easy to adjust. Only time will tell, especially with the extremely cold-wet conditions of Midwestern winters. The ratcheting arms are solid. They don’t fully flush to the frame in the stowed position. That might be a deal-breaker for some. I don’t really care. I just don’t know if relying solely on the security of the arms to hold the bike in place is a good idea so I purchased some Velcro straps to help stabilize the bicycle onto the mount itself. Driving around town with this thing was a little sketchy at first. I know nothing about the manufacturer and again, there aren’t enough reviews for this mount. However, my bicycle didn’t fall off. Awesome. I hope this helps anyone who’s on the fence about buying this roof mount. TLDR; READ SPECS!! Easy to install. Decent quality. Recommend buying tire straps.

I mounted this rack on my popup rv. The first time I used it i drove down 9 miles of bumpy gravel road and the rack performed flawlessly. Did not loosen at all. I also use tie down straps on my bike wheels for added insurance. I recommend this rack without hesitation. Great rack for the money.

This product is of reliable quality, so it's a bit heavy. It's best to have two people install it. Once the product is installed, it will be firmly locked onto the frame and is very easy to use. The adjustable installation distance makes it suitable for use as a cargo rack for various vehicles. The locking frame can be adjusted and locked at any Angle, so it can conveniently, easily and stably lock 16 to 29-inch bicycles 🚲. When not in use, it can be folded and locked, and will not bounce or make abnormal noises due to vibration. This is a widely applicable product. It can be used regardless of the size of the bicycle.

Almost too small for my full suspension bike with 29" wheels but holds it secure. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had made the bracket that joins the two halves to allow for extending it. Just a couple of extra holes and bolts would allow for making this a bit longer. Like a lot of reviewers say; the stanchions don't rest fully down because of the hand knobs that serve as bolts for the U bolt. Manufacturer could have just included an additional bit of metal to allow the U bolts to point down but I'll be going to the hardware store to fix this. Some kind of key lock would be good too but I'm getting by with an old coil cable lock. I would have been willing to spend a bit more for a better effort from Gathersky but this will meet my needs for now.

I’ll give it 5 stars bcz I do believe it is a solid product. Wasn’t too difficult assemble, isn’t terribly heavy & does provide for two way to mount to your roof rack. Overall I like it. With that, my only minor complaint is that there is some slightly concerning shaking/trembling of my bikes on the highways in high winds on this rack. I think it’s just pure design of the product that allows for a little more trembling than I’m comfortable with. I just remind myself while driving in fast & windy conditions that it is almost impossible for the bike to break loose. Recommend *

Works just fine. Assembled it in like 30 minutes. Comes with tools. Holds tight to roof rack. Relatively easy to put on and off. Secures bike to rack just fine. Best: price. Works fine and it’s on the inexpensive side.
