I GOT THIS IN THE HOPES OF NOT NEEDING A NORMAL CEILING FAN AND AN ADDITIONAL HONEYWELL BOX LIKE FAN BLOWING ON ME AT NIGHT. FOR THIS PURPOSE IT WORKS GREAT. I PLACE IT ON SPEED 6 AND IT BLOWS DOWN ONTO MY BED AND I HAVE NOT NEEDED THE OTHER HONEYWELL FAN SINCE. OF COURSE THE HIGHEST AIRFLOW IS DIRECTLY UNDER THE FAN BUT IT SPREADS OUT ENOUGH TO THOROUGHLY COOL ME WHILE I AM SLEEPING.
