Great product. FYI - As others have stated: 1. I boiled the strips for about 4 minutes to make them easy to stretch. 2. Also, enlarged the existing hole a little (in the frame) for the supplied rivets to work. 3. Inserted the rivets in the strip before boiling the strips.

I checked out a couple of U-tube videos on how to restring a vinyl strap chair. Following their suggestions I found a couple of important items not mentioned. 1. Get yourself a thin cloth pair of work gloves. You’ll need these because the vinyl will be hot to touch. You may need a few pair of gloves, because once they get wet, the heat transfer from the hot vinyl through the wet glove, is fast. 2. The chair must be fastened down to a solid work station. You’ll be pulling and stretching the hot vinyl and you don’t want the chair sliding all over the place. That’s it. Good luck.

The straps did a great job adding support to my chairs. There are 2 issues I had. 1st...directions should be included to explain to soften the straps in hot water to help stretch the webbing and 2nd...the plastic rivets bend very easily. Screws w/washers should be used.

Bought a quality patio set for a bargain price as it had strapping broke on all the chairs, I was able to save what was still good and add new strapping to replace the broken and help restore to like new condition, the product worked better than expected.

The first photo shows the fasteners, the white one came with the roll. I purchased the black fasteners from Amazon because the holes I drilled were 1/4 inch and the tubing is not a real thick wall. The third pic is one strap cut to length and then a picture of all old straps removed the final picture is the completed Chair. It takes a bit of stretching to get the double wraps on the ends. Keep the straps in the hot water till you install them after the install and the cool down they look great. Several videos on YouTube you should watch before ordering these products so you order enough the first time

Great instructional video and the straps work fine. The rivets are pretty flimsy and easily bend when pressure exerted to press them into the hole. Per the video, I ended up enlarging the holes in the frame to get them to work.
