Anyone who has had their patio heater knocked over by the wind know just what happens to the cap; crush; bend; mangled. Anyways, bought this replacement for my Fire Sense brand heater and it was perfect! The fit and quality are excellent. Only thing is that it takes longer to remove the protective blue film than to assemble, but I guess it's necessary?

Overall the installation was easy. Peeling the protective film wasn't as bad as some of the reviews I saw. If you start from the flat section at a corner and pull gently and slowly towards the rolled edges it comes off mostly in 1 piece. Work smarter, not harder. Overall, the holes were drilled perfect and the hardware was all included. Items were Packaged nicely in a sturdy box with bubble wrap to protect the pieces during shipping. 5 stars! My patio heater looks and works like new again.

Hardware didn’t last two years because it is not stainless steel. Everything is popping off and falling apart. I’ll replace the HW and continue on but obviously some cheap material. I don’t know why some companies would rather me write a bad review by saving a quarter on material instead of providing the appropriate HW for the elements in the first place.
