I love this wallet because of its compact and practical design, it's very sturdy and you can feel it's very good in quality. Being used to leather wallets, it took me a while to get used to the hard case Flipside wallet. Once you get all your must carry cards/money organized and used to accessing them at will, you're going to love the wallet's design. I must say that I've had quite a few wallets in my life and have used each of them for years, my wallets become a part of me. I bought this wallet because I wanted something new and different and it turned out to be a great purchase since I've been very happy with it, the price is in the 50 dollar range but it's worth every penny. I recommend the Flipside wallet if you're interested in a hard case wallet that is compact, practical and cool looking, its design and quality will not disappoint you.

The Flipside 4 looks like a bar of soap but it really is a very practical, well designed wallet. It feels cheap in your hand but don’t be put off by that. The Flipside 4 is made of hard plastic with aluminum dividers inside. The button to flip it open is recessed, so there’s not much chance of it opening in your pocket or purse by accident. It has three spots for cards. Two of them can hold three cards each, and one holds a single card. The Flipside 4 has a clip where you can put a couple of more cards, or up to 14 bills of cash. It’s quite lightweight and fits easily in either the front or back pocket. It’s not water resistant but that can’t be expected at this price. The Flipside 4 is manufactured in the United States. It must be real popular because some colors are out of stock quite often. The attachment with the rubber band isn’t of much use and I removed it. There is a “kick” attachment which adds in the ability to carry a couple of keys or more cards or cash. Right now the “kick” is only available on the Flipside web site for $17.95. The Flipside 4 is a very practical wallet that is an excellent replacement for a leather wallet.

*I* was disappointed but you will love it. I got my new flipside 4 today after my first one got washed and dried. Would have survived that but it opened up and the middle card holder broke off as it tumbled in the dryer. Other than that it was in good condition after about 6 years of use and I suspect it could have lasted the rest of my life. My issue is the first one I got the rubber band broke pretty much immediately. Which was no big deal since I don't use it but I thought getting the 4th gen would have some improvements but it looks identical to the first. Nothing seems better or stronger or have design improvements. Not that it needed any. So while I love the wallet, I wish there was something new about it. I do recommend it. I was tired of dirty, rubbed, and even broken credit cards in my traditional leather wallet. Since I got the flipside in 2016 or 17 they have remained good as new. That was worth the money to me right there. Only one downside is I had to switch from carrying my wallet in my back pocket to the front. You don't want to sit on a plastic lump. Really it was a good move for me anyway. Front keeps it safer from theft and falling out. Also, since my dryer incident, maybe if the latch locked it might be a nice touch but then it would have the cool flip I guess.

This is an amazing little wallet and my absolute favorite now over having a standard fabric wallet for the longest time which as all fabric or leather wallets overtime will start to fall apart and rub your cards to much which ruins them as mine previous did. As far as wallet hunting goes, i have been looking for months on and off for a simple but high quality wallet that only needs to hold around 5 cards and some cash on occassion but could not find any i like that had descent real reviews, good quality. or left your cards and cash to exposed and in no way protected until i found this one and i absolutely love it. It's very light and no bigger than your standard folding wallet when loaded up aside from being a hard shell to protect your cards. Easy to get use to, easy to open, stores 7-8 cards easy which is more than enough if i ever need that many for whatever reason, and zero fear of cards being damaged etc. I also like the fact that on first glance, no one would be able to tell that it's a wallet and not just a case for something until you open it and i like that idea of it being less likely for someone to attempt to take it if they can't tell it's a wallet to begin with.
