The XL litter box is the perfect size that I didn't know I needed. Larger than the standard-size plastic litter boxes I have been using for years, and the cats definitely prefer it, and I have two very large cats (over 15 lbs. each). The sides are nice and high, so it keeps the litter in very well. The stainless steel doesn't absorb the odors like plastic does, so it smells MUCH cleaner and nicer, and it is far more durable. They were easy to snap together and easy to clean. Truly one of the better purchases I have made this year.

Three cats and their momma are enjoying these easy—to-clean, sturdy and well-designed litter boxes. Perfect size for my 13-15 lb. cats. The plastic top fits tightly and the little step keeps some of the litter from kitty paws inside the box.

Perfect size for my cats! The high walls are perfect and the seal between the top and bottom doesn’t let any liquid out. The scoop attaches to the side but we will be getting a metal scoop instead. Very easy to clean and lasts!

Best litter boxes we've ever had! Our 7 cats share two of these boxes. The large size is great, and the high sides help to keep litter contained. Stainless steel is perfect as the litter and waste don't stick to the bottom like they do in plastic boxes. We find that we use less litter and need to do full litter changes less frequently than when we used plastic boxes.

I've been putting off this review for awhile as I wasn't sure about these littler boxes at first. First off, let me start by saying the metal pan themselves are great. Easy to clean, they don't hold any odor and the cats readily took to them. I wish they were about 1 to 2 inches wider as I have 2 large, 20 pounders that take up some serious real-estate in a little box. The issue I have, and the reason for the star deduction, is the snap on littler guard. That sucker is very, very hard to click into place. So much so, I thought about donating the pans and going back to plastic ones. You have to set one side of the guard under the lip of the pan and "pull" on the other side of the guard while trying to get it to click into place. There are these little tabs that hold the guard down onto the pan so big fat cats can't knock it off. After much frustration and use of "creative" words, I finally used a utility knife to carefully shave down a little of the part of the tab that snaps onto the lip of the pan. (See pics. They aren't the best, but it gives you an idea of where I had to use the utility knife.) It works like a dream now. They still lock into place but it's not as hard to get them on and off the pan. I will say this littler pan and guard are very well made, however, I have noticed the plastic guard does retaine some littler box odor. In the end, I'm on the fence whether they are worth the price, but for metal pans they are reasonably priced which was I bought this set. At least I will no longer need to keep buying new pans to replace old nasty plastic ones.

I ordered the 2 pack of litter pans. They are heavy duty. Very nice quality. The bottom pan is thick and sturdy. The top snaps into place and holds tightly, no sliding or moving. You get two free scoops with the pans that can hang on the side. I’m happy I got these I have a large cat and he fits great. All of my cats like the boxes and had no problem switching over. I think prefer these boxes as still have one covered box and all of my cats seem to use these more. More use at the end of the day when scooped. I think they like the open top with room and ease of use. Great product, may order a 3rd.

These litter boxes are great! Very large, and so easy to keep clean. I used to have 3 large-sized boxes and just two of these equal the size of my old three combined. I like how the scoopers have hooks so you don't have to find a place to put them. Very convenient feature.
