The ring is very pliable so it was easy to install. I used this on a glass patio table, so if your table is made of another material it may not work. Your table may be too thick. The ring is very light weight and the price is just right.

The ring that you insert is nice rubber and yet hard rubber fits perfect and I know my umbrella pole won’t damage the table and I’m also about ready to take out the umbrella because of the time of the year and put the 2nd plastic piece in to cover the hole where the umbrella was. I’m also very satisfied with the clear color I chose also installing it was rather easy but you just have to work it into the hole. It’s a snug fit. Thank you, Anna
