  • Not recommended…. Hitch sags, straps don’t work, and rivets failing that hold ramp
So I got the hitch and put together, that was easy, noticed that the ramp rivets holding it in place on the slide bar…. What ever the term is, looked kind of loose. So put hit on truck and looked good. Took it camping finally this past weekend, rolled the two e-bike up strapped them, this took some time and patience. So we got to the camp site and in order to release one of the straps holding the bike down would not release, several of tried for a half hour. We then cut the strap!! Bring something sharp to make that happened! We then pulled on the ramp so we could get one of the bikes off, and the end cap of the ramp fell off after unscrewing the bolt! The other one was fine…. Anyways we cobbled together a strap to get the bikes back. Noticed that the hitch leans down, not sure why but I thought it would be leveled or slightly up. I wouldn’t recommend ... show more

  • It'll work with carbon framed bikes
I don't have an ebike (but do rent one for the wife on occasion) or a fat tire bike. What I wanted was a rack that I could use with my carbon fiber framed bike. Most racks put pressure on parts of the frame that are fine for aluminum and steel but not for carbon fiber. This rack clamps onto the seat post just like how a bike shop clamps onto a bike to work on it. Assembly was easy (but I was missing one bolt and nut). It's just 4 bolts to connect the rack to the mount. It's very heavy. So installing and removing it could be a struggle for some. There's a couple of bolts in the mount that don't do anything. I'm not really sure why they are there. One is for the mount to pivot, two are stops to limit the range of motion. The other two appear to be to bolt the 2" square tube to the mount. Yet it's welded. All of these bolts were loose. They all have nylon lock nuts so they weren't going to fall out but I still tightened them. The ramps slide in and out of the wheel trays. They have a wing bolt to hold them from sliding out. That really should be a spring loaded clip of some sort. I can see the head of the wing bolt getting damaged or loosening up and falling out. The ramp looks like it can't fall out. I didn't see a way of locking the clamp that holds onto the bike. It's just a bolt that you need to hand tighten to clamp it onto the frame of the bike. They are plastic with rubber padding and a spare is included. I wouldn't mind to see them made from metal with padding. I'm not sure if I fully trust the plastic clamps just yet so I'll use a bicycle lock as a backup just in case the plastic breaks. The wheel straps should hold the bike onto the rack but the real bike could flop over and be dragged on the road. Overall I would say this rack is good for 100lb bikes. It's very sturdy. The ramps will help those who can't lift a heavy bike. The wheel trays can be adjusted side to side as needed to work with the post that the clamps mount to. Another upgrade could be to give the clamps a cam action style tightening system like bike stand clamps have to speed things up. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty
Save your back and make things a lot smoother and easier for you with this bike carrier. It is complicated putting together as there ins’t any instructions, you will have to look off the picture and figure it out. But it does lock great into the receiver hitch and doesn’t bounce around and keeps your bikes safe. Electric bikes and fat tire bikes are heavy and this allows you to drop the ramps down and roll the bikes up to the rack. Quality, well made. ... show more

  • Sturdy
This makes transporting our E Bikes much easier as opposed to loading in the bed of the truck. It feels sturdy and supports two bikes without any issues. I have no reservations strapping our E Bikes to it and hitting the road. Was kind of scarry having them just hanging off the back of the truck but after a few miles I felt confident in it. We are happy with this rack, and we would buy it again. 5 STARS ... show more

  • Excellent quality
This is a heavy duty bike rack. It is durable. Well made. Swivels. Has ramps to push you bike up for easy storage. Secure. Easy to assemble. It is heavy and so it takes a couple of people for installation process. Update. Went to install and there was a broken piece

  • Great 2-Carry E-Bike/Bike Rack strong and well built!
The media could not be loaded. This E-bike hitch bike rack comes in a huge shipping box and weighs about 80lbs. It comes disassembled of course, but not that difficult to put together. 4 bolts, washers, and nuts to assemble the tongue plate to the rack plate and that is about it for assembly. It comes with 2 wrenches to do everything, but if you have them, it is far easier to use your own wrench and socket set. It took less than 10 minutes to put together. I didn’t find the directions necessary to assemble the rack, but they are handy to understand all the loading, unloading, stabilizing, and strapping. Pretty straight forward but the directions help. Everything can be secured. There are knobs to secure the ramps, clevis and R-clip pins to tilt and lock the pinions and risers, straps and buckle nail teeth to secure the wheels. Everything is locked down. You can even loosen the bike trays to offset two bikes if their pedals or handlebars are wonky with each other. I don’t have an E-Bike so the loading ramps are just bonuses and will be kept in their storage sleeves and secured with the locking knob. The ramps will definitely come in handy if I ever do get an E-bike or transport a friend. During your riding season you can just leave the rack on the back of your car as it can be secured in the up position on the car when not in use. You can pull the tilt pin to get in and out of the back hatch. Nice! This is a great bike rack, strong and well built, but if 80 lbs. sounds like a lot to you maybe not for you. I love it. ... show more

  • Just an amazing product
This is absolutely for my son's ebike. I uses to fold it in my SUV. With this product, I'm able to hook it up nice and easy. The set up is very simple to follow. The ebike was very sturdy on top of that. I still use some extra cable to keep the ebike intact. The product is too exorbitant, I wish it was more affordable. It's a perfect product for me and the family. I definitely love this product. ... show more
