I was skeptical of how strong a segmented curtain rod would be. This surprised me with how little flex there was. It behaved for the most part like a solid single metal rod. The way this works is by using 16" sections of tubular steel tubes that feel like they are about 18 guage steel. They screw in and when tight it does a great job of making a very rigid rod. The other thing i was concerned about was how the curtains would slide on the seams between the segments and the seams are very minimal so it slides very easily. The mounting brackets are solid metal with little locking screws that will hold the bar stationary in place. It include the hex wrench to hold it in place. Overall I am happy with this purchas and would be willing to buy more if i need them

I recently purchased the 16-86 Inch Curtain Rods in Warm Gold, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. Comes with everything you need hardware wise and is well made and sturdy. I wish the brackets weren’t full circles and more of the sit in half circle style cause I did find it hard to install the pole however I made it work and am happy with the outcome.

This review is for a 16” to 86” Curtain Rod. This is a nice thick rod with a 1-inch diameter, 3 rod holders, and it’ll hold up to 30 pounds. It comes with 6 small rods, and you add length by screwing one rod into the next until you have the right size. The rods and finials are made of aluminum alloy, and it’s lightweight. I like these rods and will get more because they’re different than standard curtain rods. The rod hangers are made in such a way that they won’t get in the way of a screwdriver or screw gun when you hang them, which has been a pain for me with every other rod I’ve hung. I love and recommend this rod for all the reasons above, and it looks great.

This curtain rod feels solid and has a nice look. It's very neutral and goes with nearly any decor. It is easy to assemble and install and is very adjustable. The one complaint I have is the rod's sturdiness. I used the rod at full length, with about 4" of overlap in the piece that slides into the other piece. At that length of extension there was a noticeable droop in the rod, even without any curtain attached. The weight of a curtain further emphasized that droop. There is no way to tighten the rods together or secure them at the desired length except for the two little screws located on the end brackets. My solution was to wrap the little rod with the perfect amount of electrical tape at two locations within the overlapping pipes to take out the gap between pipes and stiffen them up enough to prevent a very noticeable droop in the rod. It mostly works with the light curtain I have. I don't think it would look acceptable with a heavy blackout curtain though.

I love this curtain rod because it solves all the problems that I've dealt with in the past. The individual rods screw in nicely so your curtain won't get caught on anything, making it difficult to open/close. With this rod, my curtains glide easily. It was quick and easy to set them up although we used command strips instead of the provided screw-in hangers. I find the ends to be sleek and elegant so they would look well in just about any space. I'm also glad that these don't buckle in the middle. The last curtain rod I had did that and it drove me nuts. All in all, good basic option that gets the job done for a good price.
