I have always had a set of large capacity backpacks that I have used a lot over time. Unfortunately, I suffered a severe injury which has required an extended healing period using two canes. That neans that I can no longer use large capacity backpacks and needed something more manageable. WHAT I NEED THIS FOR I need this set to carry back and forth on our long driveway to get back and forth to our car. When I want to go somewhere, I need a way to carry things into the house as well as to the car for the travel. BACKPACK The main pack is surprisingly large in capacity for the size. The sections are roomy and allow for some good packing yet ability to find what you want when you need it. POCKETS The inside pockets are great for carrying a small laptop or tablet. There are places for smaller items to quickly put them in place and pull them out as needed. I am not fond of the flap pocket as it is easy to catch when moving the pack around. STRAPS The straps work well for me in spite of my taller size- 5'7". They are comfortable enough to get to the car and back without issues. LUNCHBOX This is a simple insulated box with silver lining that allows to store and keep food cool or warm for a while. It really does require an aid- ice pack or warm pack- to really make it work well. The lunch bag/box does not fit over the pack and has to be carried separately or in the backpack. PENCIL CASE This is just what it says with lots of room for writing or art supplies. For me it allows me to bring small items to the car without having to look for them when I need them. COLORS The colors in this backpack set are really pretty. The off white sets off the green nicely. The green is a cross between bright sage and grass green. THE BOTTOM LINE This is really helpful for me to carry things back and forth to my car using canes. MY RATING FIVE STARS. The colors in this set are so pretty and would work well for anyone like me who needs to have a smaller backpack and don't want it to look childish. Despite not being fond of the flap pockets, this is still nice. The white fur ball is easily removable, by the way. PHOTOS The photos listed by the seller are so accurate that I did not submit any more photos. You can depend on the listing photos for accuracy as they are spot on.

After trying the 3‑piece kids set, backpack, lunch box, and pencil pouch, I was pleasantly surprised by how “real” the backpack looks. It comes off more like a standard school bag than one of those overly cartoony carriers. On my kid, it sat comfortably for everyday school use. There’s enough space for a couple of binders plus a folder, and the straps stayed steady while walking to class and moving between rooms, nothing sliding around or feeling flimsy. The lunch box is an easy match with the rest of the set and handled a normal packed lunch with a small extra snack. It’s also light enough to carry without that awkward, heavy lunch-bag feeling. As for the pencil pouch, it held pens and markers without turning into a crumpled, shapeless bundle the moment it got tossed into the backpack. The best part is how everything coordinates. Mornings go faster, and fewer things end up “somewhere” because the set keeps it all together. Downsides: load it up with heavy books and the bag can start to feel a little bulky. Also, the zippers work fine, but they’re happier with a careful pull, not the kind of hard yank you’d give a stiff gym bag. Pricewise, it feels like a solid deal since you’re getting three pieces instead of buying a lunch box and pouch separately. Durability has been okay with daily use so far, and I’d expect the fabric and stitching to last best if it’s treated like school gear, not something to wrestle with. Overall, the capacity is strong for elementary to middle school loads. I’ve used it for regular school days and a couple of travel days too, and honestly the matching lunch box ended up being the standout bonus.

I got this so my little niece would have a backpack when she actually goes to school for elementary and kindergarten. If she is anything like her aunt, she will love pockets and losing things in those pockets in the front you have five surface pockets and then a front apartment that has two pen holders, two smaller pouches and a half pouch with a deep socket the back has a compartment for a laptop or an iPad. It is padded in in front of that there’s another little pouch area. Whats neat is this backpack comes with a socket where you can put a portable charger for your device in or even hook it up into a music player and listen to music from your backpack so I would not recommend actually putting this through the wash. I would imagine cleaning would just require you to wipe the surface of the backpack down. This is also really good for travel because it does have a strap for lugging around with a suitcase. In that same area, there is a zip pouch for goods that you want to keep right next to your rear. The sides of the backpack has two kind of stretchy sockets for water bottles. I would not trust putting an actual water bottle in here cause there’s such limited space; it’s very sad. Actually, I would probably put pencils and other not water bottles. The padding for the straps is pretty nice and thick so hopefully it will cause less fatigue on the shoulders. They also look very breathable and it comes with a little latch that you can put across your kiddos chest so they won’t lose their bag and it won’t get yanked off. It’s nice as well is this comes with a lunch bag that is insulated. It is like your own purse, but is only one compartment with insulation. The spacing would fit a complete lunchbox and a drink maybe. Lastly, you get a pencil holder bag that has a little strap to it. They can hold 15+ Pence in here easy so lots of room for utensils and essentials. This bag is a great gift for a little one going to school for elementary to put their notebooks in and even books.
