    • Don’t waste your money!!
Seemed okay at first, although kinda flimsy quality and we had to add better locks and hardware cloth to make it more predator proof. This is not predator proof enough as is!! Two months in, and noticing now that the coop and run are both extremely difficult to clean out. The gap for the sliding out shelf to clean the coop, is too narrow so all the shavings and poop get scraped off as you try to pull it out. The poop and dirty bedding then fall underneath into the run. The run is too narrow and short to clean it out easily, and the proportions make it difficult to have somewhere to easily hang food and water. The doors under the coop are too small to get food containers in and out. The roosting bars are low and terrible, and my chickens absolutely hate them! I have to go out every night and put them in the coop bc they would rather sleep on the bars in the run! The real kicker is that the coop is now leaking like crazy in the rain. SOOOO pissed! This is like 150$ coop, maybe… def not worth this price! ... show more

    • Useful, but not great
The coop is fragile. It has to be handled with a lot of care. The space between the cleaning tray and the roosts is too small. This means you have to clean the coop constantly, otherwise you cannot slide out the tray and will have to pick up the poop by hand. The roosts are square, not ergonomic for the chickens. They prefer to sit on the sides. This coop is mainly been used as a laying egg area. The chickens really don't want to sleep in there and instead every single night roost on top and have to be put into the coop. Finally, I must note that the ramp is fragile.     • It’s not gonna last forever
Easy to put together I did it by myself. But it’s not gonna last more than a few years $500 is quite expensive if you think about it I think it should be more than the $300 range personally.

    • Perfect for up to 4 chickens
Purchased a smaller one first. Wife didn't link it nor did I. Purchased this one. Missing a few screws but no big deal. Easy assembly, well crafted. Modified the perches so they would be off the floor of the house. Overall, very nice for the money.

This chicken coop is portrayed in the pictures as huge and is barely big enough for 6 chickens. Ridiculous that they would even blow up the pictures to make it look larger than it is. None of the materials are outdoor weather resistant. The wire mesh is plastic and not steel offering no protection against predators. Total rip offf! ... show more

    • Fantastic Space for Our Flock
couldn’t be happier with this chicken coop. Its extra-large size is perfect for our growing flock. Our chickens have plenty of room to move around, and they love the multiple perches and nesting boxes. This coop is well-built and looks great in our backyard.
