My cat used to pee with a bit of smell. After using this diet, her litter doesn’t smell anymore, and she’s very healthy now! Amazing scientific diet! It did take my cat a while to get used to the flavor though. Need to mix the food with her old food (also Hills) for her to get used to.

I have been feeding my cat this brand wet food for urinary tract and hairballs since she was a kitten and she loves it. For kibble, I'd been giving her Blue Buffalo for hairballs. I thought I'd check out other brands of kibble just to see if there might be something better when I saw the 4.7 rating on this and started reading the most recent ones. Everyone gave it 5 stars and wrote why. I bought it and did what you are supposed to do when switching over food. I gave her half and half. She has always eaten her wet food first, but as soon as I put her kibble down, she went for that instead and immediately pushed aside all the Blue Buffalo kibble. She ate every morsel and that Blue Buffalo, a few hours later, is still sitting in her bowl. This kibble is everything these 5 star reviews claim. I purchase items based on reviews. Depending on the price & availability, I always purchase this particular brand of Hills Science Diet Dry cat food. Not always through Amazon, but I compare $ between Chewy, Tractor Supply & Amazon before maligning my final purchase. My vet warned me about male cats having trouble with their urinary tracts which can sometimes lead to cystitis and recommended this specific brand of dry cat food. Since we've been using it, we've had absolutely no problems and they love the taste. I usually leave a small brown down at all times for my 4 cats and by dinnertime, it's all gone! I really like how this product lives up to my expectations. It's a little more pricy than other brands, but definitely worth it for peace of mind. ... show more

We have two neutered male kitties, so this Hills is a great fit for urinary health and to minimize hairballs. Both of our kitties like the chicken flavor, and after feeding this for over a month, I have noticed less hairballs on the rug. Our 20 pound Maine Coon has no problem eating the morsels. But the morsels seem a bit big for our other smaller kitty to bite. (See photo.) All in all, this kitty food fits our needs and I will continue to buy it. ... show more
