We put it together and then reinforced it. Frame is strong enough to withstand minor winds but added the weight of wood on base. If you have dogs as we do, it will not keep them out so we added a barrier around this area. Chickens love it. I got the large size so lots of room for them. Easy to understand the directions. No missing pieces. No holes in the wrong places. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of quality, sturdiness, how easily it went together. Really durable structure waterproof and will need to assemble I know that’s a chicken house but I decided since I was seeing how large rental is it to reduce something special for my garden against the squirrels that’s stealing my harvest we have been assembling during few hours it was my son was no knowledge and experience was not hard to do it
