Item was better than described. I had to order this to replace the original Suburban brand water heater that was in my travel trailer. This item is better quality than the original. It fit directly into the original open with no issues. I opted out of purchasing the matching door and I had to do some custom work to the original door to make the vent tube fit since it was slightly off center from the original unit. Once everything was installed it worked with no issues. I saved some time installing the controller by splicing the original wires with the new controller to keep it in the same location, otherwise I would have had to figure out how to pull the wire behind the cabinets and walls or have to mount the controller in a different location.

Had just bought a new to me RV that hadn’t been winterized correctly. Water heater was busted. I never have had an instant heater before and thought why not. After reading and learning about wait times when using the small 6 gallon heater and the limit of hot water, this just made sense. Installation was straightforward and fit was really great, particularly the door. This was for a Winnebago micro mini 2108DS. With the unit on and the gas on, at first tried to check the hot water and nothing. Quickly found that we had forgotten to turn the unit on at the thermostat. Non issue. We set the water to 113 F and then tested it and in literally seconds the water temp shot up. You’ll have endless hot water if you have endless gas. But since we only have two 20 lb tanks this means we’re limited to 80 (Not a type) 10 minute showers. I’d say a bit of an overkill for an occasional use vehicle lol, but hopefully you’ll get the point. Two of us were able to take back to back showers. I don’t believe this would have been possible with the 6 gallon heater. Very satisfied.

Specifications list this as the power source being corded electric. It’s NOT an electric hot water heater. After going back and digging I was able to find ONE picture (NOT directly in the listing pictures) that shows a gas inlet. But I didn’t dig that far trying to make my purchase. I’m not super familiar with these kinds of things and purchased this so my husband could install it in our RV. When it arrived he knew immediately it was propane… but because of the hook ups. I’m honestly just pretty annoyed that it wasn’t listed ANY where on the listing information a the specifications say electric.

Was as close to plug and play as you can get. It heats the water very well first time with instant water heater so don't know if the 30 second to one minute heat time is normal but we are very happy with the output of the unit. I had a couple things pop-up for me on the install but they were not related to the unit it was a breeze to install and again We Love It have hot water at all areas wee need it. It's super easy to set temp to right where you want it.
