I got this because the regular car seat canopy on the Doona didn't provide enough coverage during sunny walks, especially when the sun was coming in at an angle. This sunshade extension is a nice addition for the Doona and definitely provides more shade than the standard canopy alone. I found it easy to attach and remove, and I like that the mesh panel allows for airflow while still helping block some sun and bugs. During walks and errands it helped keep my baby more comfortable, especially when the sun was coming from the front or side. That said, the material is a little flimsier than I expected for the price, and it doesn't completely block the sun from every angle as the photos might suggest. Depending on the position of the sun, some light still gets through and I occasionally had to adjust the stroller for better coverage. The peek-a-boo opening is a nice feature for checking on baby without disturbing them, and the mesh helps prevent the area from feeling stuffy. Overall, it's a useful accessory that adds extra protection and convenience, but I think there is still room for improvement in the sturdiness and overall sun coverage.

This Doona sun shade extension has been one of the best accessories I’ve purchased for our stroller/car seat setup. Legit came broken and also super hard to get on my doona for some reason. The zipper was broken from the second I opened the package. For 29$ save your money!!!!

This sun shade extension works really well with my stroller setup. It’s easy to attach and gives noticeably better coverage from sun exposure, which is especially helpful during outdoor walks. I love the breathable mesh design, as it keeps some of the sun out while still allowing airflow, so it doesn’t feel stuffy for the baby. The added bug net feature is also awesome for outdoor use. I don’t actually use it as much for sun protection, but more for bugs, especially mosquitoes, and it’s great for that. It does an excellent job keeping them away while still allowing good visibility and airflow. It folds down easily when not needed and doesn’t get in the way when the stroller is in use. Once attached, it feels secure and stays in place well.

This sun shade extension has been so helpful for everyday use with my Evenflo car seat! I spend a lot of time outside running errands, going on walks, and traveling with my baby, and this gives much better sun coverage than the regular canopy alone. It helps keep the sunlight out of my baby’s face and keeps them more comfortable during warmer days. I also really like the breathable mesh bug net feature because it allows airflow while helping protect against bugs when we’re outside. It’s especially useful at the park, during evening walks, or while sitting outside for appointments and activities. The shade is lightweight, easy to attach, and folds away without taking up much space. Even though it’s advertised for Doona-style seats, it worked surprisingly well with my Evenflo car seat. The material feels durable and good quality, and I’ve ended up using it daily since getting it. Definitely a practical baby accessory to have!

We started using this shade cover during afternoon walks when the sun was hitting the stroller from the side. It was easy to attach, and I liked that it gave extra coverage without completely blocking airflow. The mesh section has been useful too. On a recent walk through a park, it helped keep small bugs away while still letting air circulate. It folds up easily when not needed and doesn't take up much room in the diaper bag.

This sun shade is very easy to install with just a little toggle and loop installing on each side of the existing shade. Helps extend the sun shade significantly and the mesh helps keep bugs off while still allowing plenty of airflow to help keep baby from overheating. Quality seems good and a nice value compared to the $$$ of a Doona brand shade
