I gave it 5 stars because it seemingly works just as good if not better than oem brand at slightly less than half the price and comes with bonus water mineral filters for the hose. Humidity levels are higher than my soiled oem filter for sure. One reviewer said their humidity was not increasing but i am definitly not having that issue. It does fit a little tighter than i expected on installation but still no major problems with fit. I actually sort of like the tighter fit better. Not sure how the blue color will impact visually being able to tell when filters are expired only time will tell there. I will say my oem filters were done at 2 months with a clear bacterial/algae problem (smell). Not sure how often i should clean them but i thought i would get at least 1 more month…Also there are no instructions or documentation with these so im assuming the label side goes up like the oem ones. If these last at least 2 months ill buy again. Price could still be a little lower imo though. Edit: after initial installation i noticed that water was pooling much more than expected in the top water distribution area above the filters. at first i panicked and thought maybe i had made a mistake getting these and they would flood my floor. however, the water levels have returned to normal. i think the initial tight fit of the filters blocks water flow a bit but after 1-2 days it should be fine. i tried wiggling the filters in and out of the housing to loosen them up a bit and everything is normal. so if you have this problem give it a day before you get upset and return them like i was about to do lol

I purchased the Gazeer Premium Replacement Filters for LEVOIT Superior 6000S Smart Evaporative Humidifier in black. PROS: Roughly half the cost of the Levoit brand filters. On the surface, everything looked great. It even seems to put more water into the air - refills needed every 18 hours vs 24 hours. CONS: After using it for approximately 2 weeks I noticed a buildup of “pink mold”, which is likely the bacteria Serratia marcescens. In the 10 days since, I noticed it building up after just 2-3 days. I never had anything like this happen with the Levoit brand filters that I used all last winter. I dump the residual water from the tank almost every night and try to follow Levoits guidelines for cleaning. Now, with these filters, I have to clean and disinfect every 2-3 days. Not worth the cost savings with the health risk and extra time spent cleaning. Will be sticking with the Levoit brand filters going forward.
